Hey, everyone! It's Sheree here! We haven't been able to share the most recent events in our lives because things have been quite crazy lately. Especially for Ange, who's deep into her academics as a fourth-year college student, focusing on developing their website and working on her capstone paper.

But let me spill the beans on what went down on December 8, 2023. Ange got snagged as a Technical Assistant for an event, and guess who picked her up? Our former dean from the College Department, who happens to be the President of the Council of Deans for Information Technology Education NCR, Inc. (CODITE-NCR). It's become a tradition to bring Ange along to these events.

However, this time, the usual companion for Ange wasn't available. So, I became the chosen one since I'm currently unemployed, and luckily, I had a free schedule that day. Ange handled the technical aspects solo—she's a big girl now! hahaha 😄

Our venue was the University of the East in Caloocan, quite a distance away. I was a bit nervous because I'm prone to motion sickness, especially in air-conditioned cars with a particular scent. But hey, no complaints, right?

En route to the venue, I was a bit jittery because neither Ange nor I had gotten proper sleep. I was worrying about feeling queasy during the journey, especially with our distinguished company—the Former Dean and the Current Dean of our college. Fast forward, we arrived safely, and thank goodness, no vomiting incidents, just a bit dizzy in the elevator.

We took a break and got everything ready before the event started. On the other hand, I started taking pictures in the venue. The program was slightly delayed due to some deans arriving late, but no biggie—we finished early anyway.

The venue was spacious, with Ange and me positioned beside the catering area. There were tables and chairs in the middle, large enough to host a debut party, though it's a school, mind you. 🤣

After some talks, icebreakers, and plenty of eating from breakfast to dinner (all provided), we were well-fed and satisfied. Ange and I even brought home Beef Caldereta for dinner. The deans dispersed early, so we decided to pack our food and head home instead of waiting for the dinner time.

Post-event, some deans suggested going to Hangout Cafe in Quezon City, conveniently close to the venue since it's owned by the department chair of computer science in our college. Unexpected but exciting, considering we had planned this hangout with friends for a long time but never made it due to conflicting schedules.😉

We didn't immediately place our orders because we waited for the rest of our companions. So, we took some pictures at the venue while waiting.

The third floor is adorable because it's adorned with plants and lights. It's well-lit, so you don't have to worry about the picture quality when you take photos here. Hahaha!😊

The cafe was fantastic, spanning three floors with a breathtaking view of the city lights. We quickly ordered, with me opting for non-coffee due to lack of sleep. The food was delightful and budget-friendly. We highly recommend their Potato Wedges! The group ordered Potato Wedges, Spicy Buttered Chicken, Nachos Overload, and Fries—an absolute feast for friends.😁
