An Unexpected Outing with Friends

Hello Hivers! It's me again, Renz Cristine—your student blogger, model, dancer, DIY enthusiast, and academic achiever. So, hello again! Today, I want to share with you my new blog about an unexpected yet unforgettable outing with friends.

One night, my cousin messaged me and invited me to hang out with her friends, who I also knew. I immediately agreed and waited for her message. While waiting, I prepared so that when she texted, I would be ready. Around 9 PM, she picked me up, along with her friend (a girl she was chatting with), and we headed to Quisol to pick up my friend. After we picked up my friend, we continued our trip because the plan was to go to Busay, Cebu City, which was quite far since we’re from Danao. We stopped for gas at Maslog and bought drinks at a 7-Eleven in Compostela. After that, we continued our drive to Busay, leaving around 10 PM, and we arrived at 11 PM. The drive was really fast since there was no traffic.

This is our picture taken at my cousin's friend's house, where we drank alcohol. While drinking, we chatted and had so much fun as everyone joined in with teasing and stories.

Afterward, we moved to Mountain View in Busay, but we only drank by the roadside because the bars there were already closed since it was almost 2 AM.

As you can see, the view was absolutely stunning, so the long trip was worth it, especially since the view looked even more beautiful at night.

At this point, we didn’t realize it was already early morning, and we still had to head back to Danao. We rushed to leave because we were worried we might get stopped at a checkpoint, especially since we were only wearing half-face helmets. It was such an enjoyable and unexpected trip, and it was definitely worth it.

This unexpected outing with friends turned out to be one of those spontaneous adventures that created unforgettable memories. Sometimes, the best moments happen when you least expect them. The laughter, stories, and breathtaking views made the trip worth every second. Despite the late hours and the rush to get home, it was a reminder of how important it is to cherish these simple yet meaningful moments with friends. Life is full of surprises, and this outing was definitely a highlight I will always remember. Until the next adventure!
