A Simple Day To Share With My Older Sister

in Hive PH10 months ago

Hello, and what’s up, Hivers? Did you guys wake up with a brimming smile on your faces? I hope everyone is doing well and is safe. I’m back with another plot and a simple day to share.

Yesterday, me and my sister spent some time outside our house. Well, if it weren’t for the school enrollment, I would have stayed at home and been cosy with my hobbies. Yet, I need to enrol before our classes resume for the second semester. This blog will be all about the time we spent outside our home. The simple walk and errands we did, and the things we checked around the place. You guys can sit back and enjoy.

12:30 pm. We left our house together with my grandfather, who was going to the Cebu Capital. He dropped us off at the terminal, and from the terminal, we rode a modern jeepney going to our university. After reaching our school, I swiftly organised my papers and followed the steps for enrollment. It was pretty quick since there were no long lines and only a few students were there. It took me 45 minutes to enrol, and then, vwallah!! I’m officially enrolled for the second semester and have my class schedule.

Enrollment done. ✅

Next off the list will be the errand our mother told us to do. Now, here we are in the Pacific Mall, Metro, with my older sister. We’ll be buying a Boy Scout uniform for our younger brother. While asking where the uniforms were located, our eyes were swept by the makeup and skincare area, so we just checked the products and then came back to finding the uniform.

Take a look at these green pair of mannequins!

The Boy Scout uniform is located here on the second floor. Finally, we were able to find Boy Scout attire. However, they don’t have any smaller sizes of the shorts, so we didn’t buy any shorts. These are the only ones we bought: Boy Scout t-shirt, scarf, carabao, belt, and socks.

Then we went to the counter to pay. The next thing we did was not ignore our rumbling stomach. We were hungry, so we went down to the food court and decided to grab a brunch. My older sister is a bit thrifty, so she let me buy a lemon drink for 55 pesos and didn’t buy it for herself. I know she loves French fries, so I told her we must buy fries. She agreed, and we went to the Potato Corner to buy a Mega size, which is enough for us two.

A large cup-sized lemon drink, along with cheese-flavored fries, was enough for a simple brunch. We did chat a little also, and I guess that made us full. Heh. The clock struck 4 p.m., and we knew we had to go home. Then, abruptly, I was drawn to this thrift shop! They do sell cheap shirts, and in quality; they also have shoes and boots. It was a nice window-shopping experience! 😅

Followed by the thrift shop was a flower shop! The shop really smells nice and cozy. They have sunflowers! It costs 500 pesos, and I swore to myself that I would buy myself a sunflower on February 14. My older sister wanted to go home and rest, so we went to the terminal and finally rode our way home.

Bonus Part

When I got home, our grades for the first semester were out in our ban portal. I checked my account, and boom! I literally did sob for my pre-calculus grade. You know, guys, as a STEM student who barely knows how to do math, a line of 9 in a major subject like pre-calculus is a miracle! I’m really glad my grades for the first semester are all on line 9.

This photo is posted only in this community. I actually love privacy and have a high profile of keeping my grades a secret. I even told my mother not to share this with anyone.😅

But in Hive, I feel safe sharing this one. I’m honestly content with a passing grade; however, I want to see myself trying so hard to learn different subjects, especially math. Well, maybe that’s because I feed myself academic validation, and I feel like it’s not bad at all. I just want to have discipline at school by maintaining my grades, and I love that I think that way.

That’s all for today, people! Thank you so much for reading my blog. “Don't waver; keep going; keep looking for a rainbow ending.” I love you guys! from rainebow0407:)

Woah! Those grades are something! It sure looks like you are enjoying studying. And I love that you have established self discipline with your studying. Couple it with some physical activities - outdoor sports or nature trips maybe - and you're good to go. Keep that love for learning - even after school. And keep on blogging. (Yeah, it's so much better to share here than on any other soc med platforms.)

Physical activities will surely motivate me in learning, thank you for appreciating and dropping by @romeskie.💕 I will also continue blogging and share my stories in this community.

Congratulations on your good grades.

Thank you ma'am @chimegipamus!💕
