The Lite Ferry Girl | Love Story

Every girl’s dream is to find a good partner in life, a man who will treat her like a princess, and more than that they will love you unconditionally. I’ve been dreaming and praying this before. God sent me the right person who will love me the right way and I believe God’s plan is always the best so here’s how we met with my seafarer long-distance boyfriend and started to fall in love.

For how many years I’ve been in a single era, this person came to me unexpectedly last January this year. Way back my story experience here about Cebu City, on that day was how we met in a port here in Cebu as I went back to Bukidon for I joined the Sinulog Festival. I planned day to go back to my hometown in Bukidnon and I went to the port of Cebu City to get a ticket at 1 pm the afternoon suddenly, I saw a guy named Gerald. We were both strangers on that day in a port, Gerald is from Cebu City He got to port on that day to get some tickets in a lite ferry ship because he will be going to Davao City to branch their ship as he is a seafarer on a shipping company. We started talking to each other, Gerald offered to sit beside him as I was waiting for my lite ferry ticket in the outlet to be released by 1 p.m. He was waiting also since I had no phone on that day because my phone fell off when I was in the hotel in Cebu so I shared with him how my phone broke and fell off in that building. He asked me that day what is my name and added me to the social media account since I would not give my number to him because I have no phone. He laughed at me as I shared my experience at the Sinulog Festival. He also offered his phone to me to call my aunt that day because the lite ferry would be releasing the ticket by the afternoon so that my aunt would not worried about me as she would not reach me on my phone. So there as I sat beside him in the ticketing area, Gerald started to talk about his life on that day. As we were strangers, we became friends talked about everything, and laughed at each other while talking about our lives. On that day, as the lady on the ticket didn’t release our ticket we asked a Guard there if she would be the one to get our ticket because Gerald would go to their agency and I also wanted to go to Basilica Church to buy some souvenirs for my family. So we decided to stay away for a while and we will be returning for five in the afternoon. As we distanced from each other on that day, I strolled around Basilica Church for many hours. I enjoyed strolling in the City while waiting to come back to the port. I already bought some souvenirs there and ate a lot while waiting to come back to the port. It is already 6 in the afternoon I promised Gerald that we would be back at 5 in the afternoon but I didn’t see the time on my watch as I already saw it by 6 in the afternoon as I go back there. So sad that we didn’t see each other again and I felt guilty for Gerald because I told him I would be back at 5 in the afternoon. As I went back to port, the guard said to me that Gerald always asked her more than 4 times if I was back or if I had already gotten the ticket to her and the guard of the port told him that I was not already back yet in the port. To short the story, as I uphill on the lite ferry ship with myself I found my deck there and I saw him again but I was not sure if it was him so I didn’t show myself to him even though I already knew it was him I think because I want to sleep well that day as I strolled around the City and my feet hurt so much strolling so I want to sleep early. But it’s funny because as we took our ticket together we should have just been next to each other on our deck but Gerald didn’t see me he searched and transferred to another deck that was not hot and and it should be windy. So there, I haven’t seen myself to him the whole night. That day he said to me he was worried about me because he hadn’t seen me and he thought that I left on the ship for him to know I already saw him maybe not sure if it was him but I didn’t show myself to him as well and I felt guilt that day so that I and Gerald will having a whole night talking to each other and have a bonding if I went to him. That’s how we started our friendship as a stranger in a Lite ferry ship. He said to me that he was searching for me the whole night on the ship but he didn’t see me.

To short our love story, months went by Gerald and me already in a relationship last February 11, 2023, this year because I realized that I was starting to fall in love with him and he’s always on my mind that day, he is always there to me when I was sad and he always makes me happy every day when he call me always in my phone. We started to fall in love with each other after we met at the port. We both same feelings as he said to me. Gerald started courting me because he said he had already fallen in love with me and he hadn’t forgotten me on his mind as we met on the lite ferry ship. The day after as I went home, Gerald reached me to message me on a social media account and he told me he was worried about me because he hadn’t seen me on the life ferry ship the whole night so then as we started chatting each other he tells to me everything about what happened to him in a ship while searching me on that day and that is how we started talking to each other.

We’re in a long-distance relationship now and it’s already months passed since we built our relationship, I didn’t expect that he had a plan to surprise me on our first months together. He surprised me on our first month with a beautiful bouquet and my favorite cake in a flavor of ube with the message Happy Monthsary Lite Ferry Girl. But before that, Gerald contacted my siblings to have a plan to surprise me on the day of our month but my sister was too late to read his message so Gerald chatted with my cousin @pinkchic to make a plan with our first month to buy a bouquet and a cake and ate pinkchic already agreed the planned of my boyfriend to suprise me. And I'm so thankful to my cousin Pinkchic because she replied to Gerald’s message and then my boyfriend and cousin surprised me, @pinkchic told me that I had an order that would pay me two thousand pesos and I was shocked that day and cried a lot because they pranked me and I didn’t expect that day that my boyfriend Gerald will surprise me in our first month together. All my family cried also because they were so happy for me because of what Gerald surprised me and all my family knows that it was my first time receiving like this.

March 11, 2023, was so unforgettable day in my whole life because my long-distance boyfriend surprised me unexpectedly and it was the first time to received a flower bouquet. I cried a lot on that day for it was a tears of joy because after I met Gerald I prayed in Basilica Church to get a man that would treat me like a princess I am so special for that person and God found me this man. He came to me unexpectedly as we were both strangers in a port of Cebu City. That is why Cebu City has my heart because of Him. I never expected it, It was so memorable and unexpected to me after everything as I prayed in a church in Cebu. God granted my wish and prayed to give me a man like it’s my dream guy and here it is Gerald came. And I realized that God will make a way for what is meant for you and to find you a good and perfect man who will treat you right for the things that I never experienced before by surprising me like this it is so special to me and I will keep this in my heart. I am so thankful because God sent me a man of my dreams. God sent me an unexpected person who will treat me right and make me special and it’s worth waiting for.

Yesterday was our 7 months together and I am so happy because our love is still the same and we’re both in love with each other even though we are a long distance together because he is a seafarer and our relationship keeps stronger every day and I was so happy how I met him he became part of my life now and we both loved each other. For our relationship now, I pray and hope that our love will last forever as I pray it always in God. This is our first picture together for how many months were in a long distance.

As I ended my story, I thanked God for all the blessings He gave to me. I always believe that God will always find a way to make you happy and experience what you didn’t experience for your whole life and he will always bring the right people into your life and he has his plan for every person. I love Gerald with all my heart. And I believe that what’s meant for you will find you. And I always believe in God’s plan.
