When I was back in UK last year, someone in the village lost their dog for around 10 days. By putting out a lot of posts on the village Facebook group, the dog was located. I know, FB, the great evil lol ... thing is, the local group platform there is incredibly powerful at putting out something like this. Perhaps situation is different, or you already tried this.
