To alleviate the wearies that I felt inside, together with my travel buddy RM, we traveled without a proper destination. It is in an unknown travel where I can feel the thrill and a real exploration full of adventure.
There are simple beaches in Tabogon where it is often visited by the locals. The beach of Maubog is one of them. It is open it all, no entrance fee is needed and is accessible. Since our trip had no destination, we were allured to take our stop here to enjoy its calming effect due to the green scene that surrounds the place.
As we descended, we needed to be cautious due to the rocky steep pathway. However, our minds were diverted upon hearing the crashing sounds of the seawater that are appealing to our senses.
When we were about to reach the shoreline, the vast expansion of the sand enticed us. We marveled at this colorful array of pump boats used by the locals for fishing.
On the right side, facing the ocean, there is only one cottage that can be used by the public. It was built from indigenous materials that is loved by the beachgoers. Behind it, the beach lovers were religiously grilling fish and pork for their lunch. We were enjoying the tranquil surroundings as we rested above these huge rocks and felt the moment with nature.
Moving forward, on the edge of the beach, the huge rock formations are so marvelous to look at. They have been forming small sea caves for decades. Despite the darkness inside of it, their unique appearance is still fantastic.
Gazing at the sea waves chasing each other, was entertaining. The foamy sea waves that reached the edge are awesome. The serenity of the place had given me peace of mind that we never regretted why we reached here.
RM won't miss this opportunity to take a plunge into the cold seawater although we experienced the blazing heat of the sun. She was having fun even if she was alone.
Sometimes the true essence of happiness can be felt in simplicity. This simple place has given us a perfect pleasure that made our day complete. Our connection with nature here stripped all my anxieties and was replaced with contentment. Eager to start another wonderful day.
This 6-hour trip with my daughter served as an antidote that eliminated all my worries in life. We went home with happy faces and still looking forward to more adventures with nature.
I’ve been there before, nay. It’s a really good place, especially considering that it is a public beach.

When we were bored, we used to travel anywhere and luckily we reached this simple beach resort. The tranquility here is truly admirable.
I'm happy Mama BB was with us. She enjoyed it a lot.
