The Mesmerizing Christmas Lights of Naga City, Cebu Plaza

A happy new year, everyone! As the year turns a new leaf, I would like to blog again and share with you the very wonderful and awesome sights and Christmas lights of Naga City, Cebu (located in the southern part of Cebu). In this blog, you will read and watch how these Christmas lights shine brightly and bring light during Christmas night.

It has been known that in every Christmas season, the municipalities or cities of the Philippines will have such effort to decorate and bring the Christmas spirit alive. The City of Naga has been decorating their plaza with a lot of effort since then. I have been visiting it for almost every year, and for once it did not disappoint. The Christmas tree was, as expected, tall and large that even from a great distance, you could see its colorful lights, and the bright star lit up the night.

This year, there are some parts that they have removed from their previous decorations, such as the ‘Belen.’ Last year, they included different stations of ‘Belen’ that show the birth of Jesus in the most creative way possible. Although it was not included in their plans last year, the plaza and their Christmas designs still amaze me.

The colorful lights can really capture your attention and give this enticing feeling that reminds you of Christmas. The place is perfect for outdoor plans you have with your family, friends, and loved ones.

Their paseo is as great as it once was. They added some butterflies that look so pretty and magnificent when it lights up. Aside from that, they also have a cave inside in which you could sit or relax and watch the mesmerizing lights.

Of course, a visit to the plaza is not complete without taking a roam or stopping in their boardwalk to have a breath of fresh air and watch the city lights that are visible from the area. The place is definitely perfect if you’re looking for a place to enjoy and unwind in peace at the same time. The plaza and the park are perfect for joyful bonding, whereas the boardwalk is perfect for unwinding while enjoying the views.
