Our organization engages in a variety of extracurricular activities (CSR) each month to benefit the community and also the environment. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities refer to the idea that a firm should give back to the community and consider the environment and society while making decisions.
This month, as part of the CSR Activity, the CSR team conducted its CSR Exhibit to promote the arts, including beautiful paintings and photographs from previous CSR activities. In addition to appreciating photographs and paintings, I also appreciate seeing what they have created in the past because I want to join them for their next activities. So, hearing that they will be doing something similar to this activity made me genuinely happy.
After registering, they offered us these candies at the exhibit area as an appreciation for participating in the exhibit activity. I wasn't expecting that there would also be food and sweet giveaways here, lmao. We can get as many treats as we want from the registration area, so we can't be bored while we are exploring the area.
After registration and getting all the sweets that I could get from there, I already proceed to the exhibit main area where all the paintings and photography were displayed.
So the huge cat portrait in front was what I first saw in the area. Because how could you miss such a lovely cat? I believe they obtained this image of a cat from a CSR initiative like cat feeding. I didn't read the entire description of the image, but I did notice the word "SOLD," and that's when I realized that this activity is not just a simple exhibit; it is also a charity event. They are selling these works of art in order to raise money for their upcoming activities that will benefit the society/environment.
Another portrait of cats. This is from Cat feeding activity. Actually, we'll have an upcoming cat feeding activity this month, we'll look for a stray cats around Araneta City then they'll feed them with cat foods, cause they deserve to be treated like that, and they need someone to take care of them. Look how cute they are!
Then, a portrait photograph of Pawikan was next that I noticed. I would really like to participate in this kind of activity and release a baby pawikan into the ocean. This image is incredibly lovely, and it evokes a lot of feelings when you attempt to stare at it and think that you are the one letting them out.
Next, the tree planting activity. I personally love tree planting. In addition to helping to shade lower buildings, which decreases the demand for air conditioning, trees in urban areas also aid to reduce rain runoff and downstream flooding. Additionally, they prevent wind from losing dirt and other nutrients that we want to remain in place. Additionally, they support wildlife, which boosts the area's biodiversity.
There were also a ton of small paintings present that depicted numerous viewpoints from different perspectives. These are my top picks. When I was school, I used to paint whatever came to mind, and the most of them were environmental-related, that's why these really caught my eyes.
Having this kind of activity at work is incredibly enjoyable, and after seeing these artworks, I'm more motivated than ever to sign up for the forthcoming CSR events because they seem like so much fun!
