TELL ME ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES: "PHILIPPINES" (UNOFFICIAL ENTRY)

I want to participate from the contest I initiated but of course this is not official. I just want to participate for the fun, I want to let the participants that I also love this kind of contest. I love it of course, it's about Philippines you know. I am proud to say that I came from this country and I want to tell the world the wonderful things about my country.

Philippines is a country where I'm living on and the people who lives here are called "Pinoy or Filipnos." Philippines can be found in the Southeast of Asia. A small area of 300,000 km2 according to Google. The name of our country Philippines came from the emperor of Spain.

The Philippines was divided into 3 groups of island; Luzon where the capital City of Philippines can be found,named Manila. Mindanao where the biggest agriculture can be found. Visayas where the they said the first who discovered the Philippines was Ferdinand Magellan. It's just a history but there's no assurance that it's really true because there were people already who lived in Philippines when the spaniards arrived.

Enough for the history and let's go in knowing what kind of people are in the Philippines

THE PEOPLE
People in the Philippines loves to hang out with friends. I don;t know if that's what they called generous when you let someone to join even though that person has no money to contribute.

We love to group ourselves and do things we love to do. There's money or not it's fine as long as we enjoyed our time together. We also love to drinks with friends using only one glass so that we could round ourselves like a circle and the conversation will be shared to everyone.

THE CULTURE

Christmas season is one of the best culture here in Philippines. In the whole world we have the longest celebration of it. Maybe we just love the lights of Christmas lightd.

Fiesta or festival is also one of the happiest culture in the Philippines. Why it's the happiest? As you know Filipinos love to celebrate this event. Even if they doesn't have money to spend. They will borrow money from their friends just to celebrate this festival. Oh, another thing in this festival. We will use those materials that we hide because we're afraid that it will be damaged but using it during festival is different thing.lol

And yeah every festival of a certain place there will always be disco. You know it's rare to see bars in provinces so of course there will always be the dancing or else the festival won't be completed.

THE DIALECTS
We have lots of dialects here in Philippines. I can't count it with my hands so I won't tell you how many are they. But the national dialect here or language is "tagalog" and english became part of our country.
