Going back to the place where we studied, grew, learned, and developed, which shaped us into who we are now, is truly nostalgic. Remembering those enjoyable moments and unforgettable experiences we had with our classmates and mentors makes this school close to our hearts, as it holds precious memories from elementary to high school.

Even though we are now in college, we still miss the presence of our school and our beloved teachers. We can't help but feel the urge to visit and see how they have been.

My friends and I had been planning to visit, but due to our hectic schedules, we couldn’t find the chance. However, when we found out they were having a Christmas party last Friday — the same time we were heading home to spend Christmas with our families — we saw it as the perfect opportunity to visit before their vacation.

When we arrived at our school, we noticed some changes. It looked even more beautiful this year than it did last year.

As we approached the gate, we were planning to ask if it was okay to enter, but the teachers there immediately recognized us and warmly welcomed us inside.

We were so happy and excited because it had been so long since our graduation. We wanted to visit our former advisers and see our old classrooms.

At first, we were hesitant to approach them, so we simply passed by each classroom, not wanting to disturb the ongoing party. Suddenly, someone touched my shoulder. When I turned around, I was surprised to see one of my former classmates. He told me that some of our classmates were on the second floor.

I rushed upstairs, and when I got there, I saw my supportive former adviser and several classmates welcoming us with smiles, asking how we had been these past few months.

Our teacher offered us a plate of spaghetti and gave us some chocolates. At first, we were shy to eat, but later on, she convinced us to join in.

We had a long conversation about my studies, her advisory classes, the school, and so much more. Later, our teacher invited us to sing karaoke, and we had a fun karaoke session with our fellow classmates.

That day was truly a blast-joyful and memorable. It felt like we were having a small reunion.

It feels so good to have people with whom you can share your experiences and upbringing, people who don’t forget you and still cherish the memories you shared together.
