Want to travel? Really? But often get dizzy or even vomit? Oh, that's so me 🫣. When I was little , I always dreamed about traveling to other places or different countries when I grew up. Traveling abroad is also one of the things I've wanted to do soon when the time is right. But after our trip to Compostela , my perspective changed. I don't know if I'll pursue this passion. But, let's see what life brings ahead.

The day before our trip, Niño told me to ask permission from my parents if I was able to join them going to Compostela , since it was his nephew's birthday. Luckily, my parents agreed. On the day of our trip, his other two nephews and one relative went with us. While waiting for a ride, it was a bit of a struggle because we waited for almost an hour , because all the buses were full and the sun was getting intense.

We were running out of time , so we got on even though the bus was full and we had to stand. Later, a passenger got off, so I sat down and picked up one of Nino's nephews. Just then , I felt like I was about to vomit, but luckily, we were already at the place where passengers, drivers, and conductors are given time to eat and use the restroom. So, I was able to vomit outside at that moment.

The Ceres bus started traveling again, and eventually, a passenger who was in our row got off. And because I really wanted to lie down, I asked the two passengers to move aside so Niño could sit next to me. I was so glad they immediately agreed, and as soon as Niño sat down , I immediately lay down until we reached Compostela.

It was the first time I had come to that place, and I was so amazed by the beauty of the house. It was lunch time when we arrived , and we were immediately called to eat. I only knew one person in that place, which is the wife of Nino's brother who took care of us there. After eating , we decided to go home because there might be a lot of passengers if we stayed longer. But that didn't work out because we waited for Niño's two siblings first.

When they arrived, they ate, and then we had some conversation until 5 PM and had fun together with the birthday celebrant. Time flew by so fast until we decided to go home. Nino's two siblings had different destinations, but they accompanied us until we got to the Ceres bus.

This was the most challenging part because there were so many passengers and not much space. I couldn't even take a picture because we were standing for the whole trip , and I was so dizzy. I even vomited twice and thought about sitting on the floor of the bus, HAHAHA, so weird. However, I wasn't shy about vomiting at that time because Niño was covering me and some passengers gave us Snow Bear candy to chew on. I think it was more than 2 hours until we got to their home. We ate dinner and rested for a while before Niño took me home.

From the initial excitement of visiting a new place, to the challenging trip we experienced , we remain very happy, blessed and truly thankful. Even though the trip was challenging, the shared experience in that faraway place strengthened the bond between us.
