Hello, Hivers!

Setting an alarm, waking up early, and rushing everyone to get ready in order to catch up for a mass is truly a sacrifice, yet fulfilling. Repeating this scenario not just once, but in just 9 days of Misa De Gallo. It was sometimes a bit tiring waking up early especially when we didn't have enough sleep. However , completing these days was truly a blessing, letting our soul feel the presence of God every day.
Each day has different challenges and struggles just to attend the mass. At first, we were lacking transportation, that's why some of us had to walk up to Skena, and wait for our companion who had a vehicle to get us, and also to save gas.

There was also a time that, we had already walked past Skena and the person picking us up still hadn't gotten back. This was because our updates with our companions weren't syncing. One of our companions was about to get the others who were left behind because we thought they were still walking. We waited for their reply, but since there were still no updates , we decided to have someone get them. But here's the twist, they only replied when the person who was supposed to pick them up had already left. So it ended up that some of us were really late on the second day.

On the third day until the eighth day, everything went well. We weren't late anymore and we were always able to sit down because some of us had reserved seats, unlike on the first and second day when we were standing the whole Mass.

After the eighth day Mass, Niño and I proceeded to their home because we were going to Compostela at that time. I thought things would go well because I thought I wouldn't vomit , not until I really did, HAHA. There were a lot of people on the bus when we headed home, and we were standing the whole trip. I vomited at that time. However, I didn't care about being embarrassed anymore since the passengers were kind and I was really dizzy. Oops, I won't spoil you, HAHA. You'll know the whole story of our trip at Compostela in my next blog.

Going back to the topic, on the ninth day of Misa De Gallo, the last day really tested us. We were really tired from our trip from Compostela, and exhausted, but still thankful at the same time. However , we never let the tiredness hinder us from attending Mass; we'd just catch up on sleep after the Mass. Completing the Mass was truly fulfilling; everyone felt very happy since all of our sacrifices from the beginning until the end were worthwhile. The Misa De Gallo journey ended, but the blessings lingered on.
Congratulations in completing the 9 days of Gratitude👏 I really admire your dedication in your faith. Happy new year!
