Provincial Charm: My Peaceful Sanctuary!

"blogserye" (blog series), I will be featuring my provincial life and experiences. Come join me as I share here with you how my life in the province shaped me as what I am today; just sit back, relax, and enjoy reading.Hello dear hivers, I am @marfeatures, and I am back with a new blog. How are you? I hope you are all doing well. For today's

Life in the province is something I won't exchange for anything. As you all know, I grew up in the province, and I am proud of that. Life there is peaceful and calm; imagine waking up with the rooster as your clock; imagine a day not dictated by the fast-paced time; imagine having a coffee with a beautiful view of sunrise. These are just some of the perks of living in the province. The fresh breeze of the air and the overlooking lush greeneries that stumble upon your view, it is just perfect for sightseeing or self-reflection and meditation.

Before I decided to seek job opportunities in the city, I always had this routine that I always followed every single day in the province. Early in the morning, my first task is to feed the chicken, not to mention we have lots of chicken, plus my father's loved roosters. After feeding the chickens, I then proceed to my next task, bringing out the goats to the open field for them to eat some grass.

We did not spoil them with gathered grass every single time; we just let them feed on their own in the vacant fields. This is my most favorite thing to do every morning because, aside from bringing the goat out, I can also enjoy the beautiful view of the sunrise in the open fields and play with the morning dew. These are the things that I really missed doing.

Why I like living in the province? Simple; all you need is in there. If I want a healthy soup in the morning, I can gather varieties of vegetables in my mother's garden. My mom always planted sorts of vegetables for our own consumption, and sometimes if we had a surplus, we also sold some of them. Life in the province is sufficient if you only know how to plant. If you want something meaty, the very closest option is the native chicken. Who doesn't like native chicken soup? It is just mouthwatering; you'll surely run out of rice. Everything is provided by nature, and it's free; that's why when it was my first month in the city, I felt like I was in a new environment. Everything is equal to money; you can't eat if you don't have money to buy; even malunggay is bought. Malunggay in the province is freshly picked, and it's free; you can also ask for it in the neighborhood, hahahah.

Sometimes if gathered with neighbors, we do a simple picnic by the open fields and cook anything we crave, like grilled fish and the likes, and gossip about things and, of course, other people, hahahh. Indeed, you can only experience all of these in the province. People in the city mind their own business and always have a time to follow. In the province we can stay by as long as we are done with our work. That's the beauty of living in the province: you own your time. How about you? How do you like provincial life compared to city life? Share your thoughts in the comment section; I would love to hear from you all.

Moreover, lots and lots of fresh fruits can be seen in the province, and it's free as long as it's yours, hahaha. Anyway, you can also ask for some if the owner permits. Whenever I crave for fruits, I just visit our hacienda (hahah🤣) and pick whatever fruit is available depending on the season. We have santol, pineapple, star fruit, mango of different varieties, pomelo, lansones, rambutan, guava, cacao, dragon fruit, and many more. Indeed, all you need is in the province, and I can't ask for more.

Overall, living in the province taught me about contentment and living a simple life. That's why I always seek the peaceful life I have in the province. Every time I'm at work in the city, I always remember my hometown and am always excited for holidays and special occasions because finally I can go back home. Indeed there's no place like home, and if given a chance to live another life, I would still choose to live my provincial life.

That's all for now, Hivers. I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog. Help me reach a bigger audience by upvoting, commenting, and reblogging. Have a great day ahead, everyone. See you in my next blog. Bye bye! 👋💗🌷✨
