Scary Tuesday Walk

I've been having a hard time sleeping these past few days because of the back of my head. It's aching and feels so heavy every time I lie down straight. But whenever I raise it, the pain doesn't trigger that much.

I suspect the liquid inside my head didn't circulate well. I guess this is the result of sticking to bed all day. So I thought to work out today.

I decided to go for a walk earlier at 4. My plan is to just go around our subdivision for 30 minutes but I realize it was too short of time and not enough for my sweat to come out. So I just change my way and go straight to the market.

It was still dark outside and the streets were not yet busy. Perfect time for walking but a bit scary especially I am alone. Also, there is a voice in my head telling me not to go, but I braced myself and thought positively. I prayed that I won't get harmed on the way.

I was walking 10 minutes already when I suddenly remember my Actifit. I immediately open the app and to my luck, it wasn't logged in. Oh, Gaaad! It logs out automatically again!

My annoyance faded when I hear someone meow at me. It's the cat guard in the pawnshop. I guess he's saying good morning so I meow at him back. Ehe!

I continued walking while keeping my guard up. I need to be alert in case I see paranormal or normal on the way thus I'm sighting the paths where to run.

When I reached Barugo my feet wants to turn back because I will pass in the mental hospital that was known to be hunted. According to hearsay, there are patients wandering on the road and stopped jeepneys to ride on. When the drivers let them in they will suddenly vanish inside and will appear in the driver's seat, or if they don't stop, patients will chase them.

Behind the mental hospital, there is a police station that has creepy stories too. There are a lot of abandoned cars outside the station before and they said it was from criminals who they caught. Residence there said they hear a man crying and begging for his life but when they go and check outside no one is there. Whenever they hear it they light a candle and offer him a prayer.

I'm so nervous earlier after passing those 2 establishments. I walk fast and focus straight. I'm scared to see them if they are still there.

I'm almost nearby in the market when I reached this bridge. I utter Jesus' name cause I remember Pennywise on this dark bridge. (cringe) I know he showed up in the canal in the movie but who knows Pennywise PH version is picky lol.

Another one that creeps me out from my walk earlier, is the price of the goods in the market. Everything is affected because of the oil hike. My P116.42 or $2 is good for "one meal only" unlike before it can last for 2 days. That is 4-5 meals for 2 people.

These 9 small pieces of fish cost P72 or $1.23 already and take note other ingredients are not yet included. When I got home I just cook it in simmered and put vinegar and spices "Paksiw" to save expenses for ingredients.

By the way, I saw P1 coin on the side earlier. I add it to my change and give it to the hobo man. It is P47 or $0.81. Not big but he can already buy noodles and bread from it.

I can say that I'm super fortunate even though we're always in tight situations but still, I want to share what I have with those who really need it.

I reached home at 5:04 AM and I checked my Step tracker. I did 7116 steps in 4.8 kilometers back and forth. I was supposed to share it for the first time in my Actifit but the app logs out when my phone is not connected to Wifi. Anyways there is still next time.

I was thinking to go for a walk again tomorrow but not in the Barugo way ehe!
