Getting Up To Speed On Blogging, Random Stuff I Found On The Internet, and Just Being Grateful For Life.

*Let's begin the day with a positive thought. What are you grateful for in your life now? 😀

Consistency

As a content creator here on the Hive ecosystem, I find it very helpful to get in a series of uploads in a couple of days to help get the creative juices flowing and just gain some momentum after a long hiatus. Even if it is just a short life update or a food blog about what I ate for breakfast, it will stimulate the mind enough to make me want to write and create content the following day. Because even if it's just a photo with a longer caption, I still go through the process of capturing something on mobile or a DSLR camera, editing the photo, thinking of a title, tags and the community where I will post it on, and just formatting the text of the blog post. It still goes through the creative process; from conceptualization, to drafting, to publishing. I guess what I'm really saying is that repetition makes it easier to do the task the second time around. Like riding a bicycle after a long time, you go slowly at first, then just being carefree and enjoying the ride whatever the speed you are traveling at after a few bumps on the road. Moving on...

Korean age is different?

I saw a clip about the Korean age system and it got my attention and curiosity. I already had an idea that Korean age is somewhat different but I did not know exactly how so. So, like any "normal" person would do in this day and age, I searched for other clips on it and found a bunch of explanations.

As it turns out, the Korean age system is different from the international system for a number of reasons. For one, it starts counting one's age at "1" from the moment of conception rather than starting the age count at zero. I haven't watched longer clips explaining why it's like this but it's different from what I'm used to. I get the part about starting from conception but why does it begin the count at 1 right away? Shouldn't it start at zero, then begin counting days, weeks, months and years leading up to the first year? I'm confused. 😅

Anyways, maybe someone here with knowledge on this matter can explain to me, I'd very much appreciate it. 😎

Finally

There's a lot of things to be grateful for in my life: my family, friends, colleagues, blessings both material and non-material alike, life itself. I know that there are also negative areas that might be hovering over our heads like a rain-cloud in the sky, but know that behind the cloud, the sun is still shining. And even if it rains, there's always a rainbow after the rain. Cliché, yes, but I'd rather share this now than ranting about what's pissing me off and trigger negative energy all over the Hive ecosystem. So, that's it for now. Thanks for taking the time to drop by and visit. Have a great day everyone.

Love and peace.

I have a 5-day old draft and it feels like it will stay that way for some time. 😩 Let's see if I get wired properly today that will let me get post up.

Interesting trivia on the Korean age.

Yeah. The Korean age really surprised me. Hope you complete your draft and get it published. 😎
