I've been a fan of fruits and I couldn't remember if there is any fruit I said no to.

Definitely, wild ones are the best especially those which ripened on the tree. Way back in my younger days, I would always go up our guava tree and on the tree whenever there are ripe fruits available. I would search fot those huge ones and wait for them to grow and ripen. That was such a wonderful time of my life.

A few weeks ago, my husband raged me along with him on a visit to our elementary teacher, now a principal to the school on the school in the next barangay and every palaro season, he asks for my husband to coach the kids who does boxing.

We paid a visit to them, and upon stopping outside their property, these delicious mulberries caught my attention and wondered whether they are kind to give to whomever that asks. Before picking one out, I asked and they happily gave us! I chose the dark colored ones as lighter colored ones are still sour and we immediately ate them because of my excitement.

My son liked the taste and I took more to take them to my daughters who were not with us that time. A few moments later, the husband decided to go to another friend and before leaving, I asked for a stem plant and brought them home.

Since it was dry season and the sun's heat is scorching, I chose to plant it on a pot and put them under a shade. The plants liked it at first, growing buds they already have on thier stem yet little did I know that ants found a new home on the soil where I planted them. Perhaps the mulberry stem was aromatic to the ants and ate the stem from under the soil.

I was defeated and left with a dead stem leaving me discouraged that my efforts were gone and my hopes of having that delicious fruit was turned off by the small creatures. It was sad but I'm hoping that soon my husband will return to the principal's home again soon and I will ask for another stem again to plant and by that time, I'd make sure that the ants won't bother the plant.

I have this attitude to bring home something that someone has in their home, because why not? As long as I don't steal them. Right? do you do it too?

Oo papadalhan kita pag madami na sis, I cross breed mo hehe

Awww... matamis siguro kaya nilanggam.
Pero, sa totoo lang, hindi pa ako nakatikim nyan.
Try mo mo lang ulit. Ilagay mo siguro ang pot sa isang mas malapad na lalagyan na may tubig. hehehe
