Stressed and Exhausted Yet I am Grateful
I am stressed and exhausted. I had another tiring day... but I chose to be grateful!
“In your darkest hour, give thanks, for, in due time, the morning will come. And it will come with a ray of sunshine.”
— Michael Bassey Johnson, Song of a Nature Lover
Our school reopened two weeks ago. For the very first time, I've never felt so much stress in my entire life. Our enrollment has increased a little this year. However, it seems it seems it did not come without a price.
In the past two weeks, we encountered different problems almost every day. Even up to today. I thought the last problem was already resolved. But it did not.
I don't even want to talk about it since, merely thinking about it gives me anxiety.
Instead, I chose to be grateful. Just as I have mentioned in my last article: Feeling Empty and Down? Start Counting Your Blessings, when I feel down, It's best to count my blessings.
So what are the blessings that I have received today?
- I survived another stressful day!
- My kids had fun at school today, especially when they went off to catch grasshoppers and they also got a caterpillar.
- I got some extra cash yesterday.
- I started working on my ebook on "Learning to Code Using Scratch" (I think I will change that title soon.
- Although it's not yet final, I am grateful for the opportunity to earn big if ... correction... when that company pushes through to rent our property.
- We had a lot of tasty and healthy food at school today.
How about you? Would you care to share what you are grateful for today? I hope to read about it in the comments or another article soon.
Thanks for Reading.
