Filipino BBQ: A Must-Try for Visitors

in Hive PH2 months ago (edited)

As a boarder, our always problem is our food—food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's hard, especially if you don't have enough allowance that can cover your needs. Annyeonghaseyo, my beloved hivers. It's me again, you friend @jenajean. Today I want to share with y'all what we bought for our dinner.

Me and my roommate Joan decided to buy BBQ. Are you familiar with BBQ? If you do, do you love it? What's your favorite BBQ? Is it Isaw? Or maybe pork? But, ah, nevermind. Let me continue sharing my blog with you. So we started walking to get there, to buy. As we arrived, we quickly looked for the barbecue that was available at the table. It was inside the Tupperware, so it's probably clean, I hope so. I chose the isaw and pork. I love it. If you don't know Isaw, it was a chicken intestines. It's so good and yummy, trust me.

Then ate (the owner); I don't know her name. She put what we chose on the grill and started cooking it. And she told her son to get a chair for us to sit on since it will take minutes to be cooked. So we sat on the chair and were busy on our phones. I was just scrolling on Facebook while waiting for it to be cooked.

Yeah, there's also chicken blood, chicken feet, hotdogs, and many more.

After it cooked, I paid 23 for mine. Their BBQ was affordable; the pork was only 8 pesos and the Isaw was 7 pesos. There's still a lot of kinds of BBQ, but I only chose these two: Isaw and Pork. As a student boarder, you can only afford it if you still have an allowance left. Even though it was affordable, if you don't have money, then still you can't afford it.

Ate gave us our BBQ together with the sauce inside. Then we started walking back to our boarding house. Joan was the one that brought the BBQ we bought.

There's a few boys that were hanging around in the road, so it's a little bit scary if you only go there alone, even though there's a lot of houses nearby. When we arrived in our BH, I quickly got my plate together with my spoon, and I started getting rice to my plate. Then we began eating. It was so yummy and delicious, I never regretted buying these. My 23 pesos were so worth it. I really love Filipino BBQ. The sauce makes it more yummy. I think the sauce was just vinegar, silver Swan soy sauce, and chili, yet it's so nice and good.

If you will come to the Philippines someday or soon, I highly recommend that you must try our Filipino BBQ. It's so yummy and delicious, I swear. There's a lot of kinds of Filipino BBQ that you can try, but I suggested to you to try Isaw. It's one of my favorite BBQs.

Paa ng manok paborito ko jan. nakakatakam naman!

Yeahhhh fav ko din yan

Mura nong pork, that's 10 here, the isaw is 5 naman. It's been a long time since I last had isaw. I remember we used to eat that, together with my friend before going home. Imagine for 20 may 4 stick kana uwu. Or 2 kapag kapos sa kwarta. Laking help din nito kapag gusto maka tipid at limited lang money. Masarap pa no, uwu

Yes, subrang sarap

Maka miss ang isaw and pork barbecue😋

Yeah, lami kaau🤤

Boarders life it is! That's what we often do if we can't find other viand to pair with the rice.
