December 25, 2025. A day after Christmas eve.

Before the holiday season ends, I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope this season brings you and your family a merry state of mind.

We celebrated Christmas three days ahead with our household and staff members since holiday rush is truly not a joke. 1 day before Christmas eve, I went to the mall only to go home with nothing bought because it was insanely crowded. People were having their last minute Christmas shopping too. So I learned that next holiday season, I will shop ahead of time to avoid the crowds.

Going back to our Christmas celebration, we ordered our go to menu in our favorite catering, plus a whole lechon. If it was me, id love to serve home cooked dishes with a menu of their favorite foods. But my mom opted to simply order our foods to avoid the hassle of cooking.

After dinner, to lighted our stomachs, we had some games, karaoke, and a song and dance number by our staffs. As a token of appreciation, I personally prepared some small gifts for each of them and facilitated the games with my sister.

This sums up our Christmas celebration. By Christmas eve, we only had a simple dinner and watched a random Christmas movie on Netflix. For some, they might see our family tradition boring, but for us, it's essentially all that we need. Work before the holidays has been (and will always be) demanding so we need a break to just chill around and have some leisure at home. As an introvert and a home body, this celebration definitely sums up perfectly.

How's your holiday going? Looking forward to the New Year's Eve celebration. And of course, it can't go without a new year's resolution so I'm starting to draft mine.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Jane
