Hi! I am Teacher Jeff, a newbie on Hive. I am not into writing and this is my first time to write in a platform like this and here I am, trying myself if can make it through. My wife @zbabe invited me into this platform as she's been nagging me because I'm busy playing COC and ML every time I came from work. She said it's better to make myself busy with platforms that will help me gain knowledge and earnings. Well, what can I say about my typical dragon wife? She's right anyway but doesn't get me wrong because while playing games on my phone, I am also taking care of our son. I am double tasking, you know. But yeah, I need to follow the master. She said I need to try this platform as she doesn't have much time to write these passing and incoming days because she's busy with other stuff. She's busy with other online jobs, I just don't know what she's been doing as they have a group chat about a platform that needs PayPal. I don't know what are her other earnings site that she joined as there are lots of apps in her phone when I tried to peek on her phone. Well, my wife is a hard working charm. Anyway, let's talk about me and not about my dragon wife coz I know if she'll opens her account, she'll read this.
So, what will I be writing here? I plan to write my journey as a teacher. I will share how my day in school went so that I can be of help to other people here that took education courses. Well, I do hope I can be of help regarding my writing these coming days and months. One of the topics maybe will be how to handle diverse students and teachings. If these topics are not allowed, please kindly let me know in the comment section.
Who's Teacher Jeff?
I am 24 years old. I am younger than my wife in terms of age. I graduated from college last year 2018 at the age of 20. Got my teacher's license in the same year and was fortunately hired as a public teacher in the year 2019. So, I've been for three years in service already. Battling every day with how to handle diverse students. I say, being a teacher isn't easy aside from that you need to understand and get the interest of each student, and you also need to build a good vibe with your co-teachers. So far, I've got good company with my co-teachers.
I am the eldest of the family and I have four siblings. We lost our mom just months after I graduate. It means she wasn't there already when I got my license and celebrate the victory of being hired in a public school. Just a month after I received my first payroll slip, I got loans so that I can pay my parent's debt. As a son, I need to look back on the days how my parents went through especially my mom who crawled me until I graduate college. For now, I am the one who's supporting my second sibling in her studies as she's a 2nd-year college now. I need to fulfill my compromise with my mom. I just hope that we can finish our studies so that our mom will be proud of us. My other siblings are still in elementary and the other one is already in high school. So, I still have time for them when they will get into college.
I also got my family when I was 23 years old. And my wife was already together when we were in college as we were in the same boarding house. And when she graduated from college, we decided to live under one roof as she was working in a private school at that time. Until she resigned when she got sick and after a year she got pregnant. And now we have a naughty boy. We heard a lot of stories about us and I admit I felt sorry for her but I know that we didn't do bad as we both graduated from college. I also got a regular job and have been working hard to be a good husband a father. I'm also blessed to have her as she's the kind of wife you want to have because she didn't left me behind and kept on supporting me. I still remember when she said that if we will have our family, she will not let me shoulder all the responsibility, and true to her words, she helped me so much. And without her, we will not be able to have our own house. Now, we have our house with her help. As a family, we encountered problems but I am fortunate because she's a fighter. She helps me fight what we are facing now. How fortunate I am, right?
As a teacher, I can't say that I am a good one but at least I felt from my students how they appreciate my father figure to them. My advisory for this year is Grade 10. It's hard handling them as they're more than 50 but I know I will still manage to look at each of them. About my company with them, I am happy that they're looking at me like a father/brother as they will share with me both just about their problems in their studies but also life. To be honest, I am worried about some of my students who's been experiencing depression that's why I need to ask help from my Aunt who's a counselor in our school.
As a father and husband, I see to it that I am there for my wife and son. I don't want to let them feel that I neglected them. Though sometimes, I don't understand my wife why felt that I didn't appreciate everything she did for us and that sometimes I am not of help. Which I was always there. Well, I know for some reason that she's been experiencing postpartum depression now which is why I need to broaden my understanding of her. I was always the one who took care of our son when I got from school. Why? Because I know she's exhausted the whole day. Our son is a hyperactive child so she won't have any time for herself. I am also the one who cooks our breakfast because she needs to sleep. I don't know what she will be feeling if she'll reads this haha. But that's true, I don't want to wake her up during the morning. I'll just let her know that I'm going to work and will remind them to eat breakfast. Our son is my stress reliever because every time I arrived from school, he'll run towards me and we will have our father and son time. My family is my blessing for fighting for life. For the record, we're not yet married but I prefer her to call as my wife and my light. And that's one of my reason that I need to save money for our marriage soon. Hopefully I will abel to save for us because I want to secure my family who's my life now. When I lost my mom, I found a new life because of my family.
I think that would be all for today. I'm sorry also for the kind of writing I have because I am not good at writing especially in English, that's why I took a Math Course, hahaha. So, that's all and see you in my next and next and next post. Happy weekend to all.

I can feel the big responsibility that you're facing but I guess you can just do it with the help of your wife. I mean she's not the kind of wife that just sits all day long and wait for her husband's salary. And I can feel that you're proud having her. Very good husband. hahaha.
That's the best thing to do. Keep your communication open. Sometimes women just wanted some of your time.

Di pa niya siguro nababasa, di pa ako binugbog eh haha joke. Tatawa lang yun kapag nalaman niya dragon siya kasi pag dragon naalala niya yung sa train the dragon na favorite niya kuno.
Mahirap maging kuya sa totoo lang pero kaylangan maging matatag para sa mama. Tsaka totoo yan, kung wala asawa ko matagal na akong bumigay sa buhay.
Minsan di siya nagsasabi. Kapag tinanong ko ano problema sasabihin wala tapos biglang iiyak. Di niya alam na nag aalala ako.
Oh sir Jeff, nabugbug kana ba ng Asawa mo? Este nabasa nya na ba yung 1st post mo? For sure proud yun sayu eh.
Bat ganito lagi mga babae? Napaka sinungaling lang. Parang gusto lang kasi namin na mahulaan nyo agad yung dinaramdam namin. At gusto namin kulitin kami. Pero pag kinukulit naman nagagalit. Hahaha. 😅🤣
Bata pa pala kayung dalawa, kaya pakitawag nalang akong ate. 😅

Akala ko din talaga anghel siya wittyzell hahaha kaso biglang nag susuper saiyan kapag may tuyo. Ang hirap pa naman suyuin pero mahal ko yun kahit ganun. Kailangan lang intindihin minsan. Teacher Jeff, keep your head up! It's great to teach and guide students on their journey. I taught engineering students, and during the pandemic it was difficult especially with the online classes since not everyone liked the setup, so attendance is very low. As a teacher, we have the responsibility to keep the lessons fun and interesting while also finding ways to keep them motivated to continue education. God bless on your new family, btw!

Wow, you and ate @zbabe are both teachers po? That must be hard since being a teacher means also having a lots of administrative works. Yung tipong kahit tapos na po yung trabaho nyo sa school, need nyo pa din magtrabaho pag-uwi sa bahay. Mabuti po kahit papaano namamanage nyo yung time nyo.
