Getting to Know Me

Hello, everyone! I'm absolutely excited to embark on this journey of self-discovery here on Hive. I'm really looking forward to connecting with fellow adventurers, food enthusiasts, and fellow moms who are going through similar experiences and passions. It's a privilege to share my story and experiences with such a supportive community. Before we started, I want to extend my gratitude to @ayane-chan and @iam.jelay for introducing me to this platform and providing me with the opportunity to share my life's journey. So, without further delay, let's dive right into this adventure of getting to know me!

Hey, it's me Julie or you can just call me Jul. I'm super excited to share a bit about myself with you all. Cooking and traveling are two things I'm incredibly passionate about. Before I became a full-time mom, my partner and I had some pretty unique dates. Instead of sticking to the usual spots like the mall or the local plaza, we liked to spice things up a bit. Our goal was to make every date memorable by exploring beautiful places together.

My partner quickly became my go-to travel buddy and together we went on tons of adventures. Whenever we had some free time, we'd love to plan our next escapade in all the hopes of creating unforgettable memories. Looking back on those moments now fills me with immense gratitude. Those dates weren't just about having fun also they were opportunities for us to connect deeply, share our dreams and face life's challenges together. Even when we faced obstacles that being surrounded by stunning natural landscapes always lifted our spirits and made us feel refreshed.

Fast forward to today, I am navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood. Even with all the craziness of taking care of my little one, feeding schedules, and sleepless nights. I find comfort in reminiscing about those amazing moments I shared with my partner. Remembering those times gives me hope and reminds me of the strength we have together. One of the toughest parts of my journey into motherhood was definitely the first experience of trimester of my pregnancy. It really took a toll on me both physically and emotionally. But even in the darkest moments, my partner's unwavering support was like a beacon of light guiding me through because everytime I felt overwhelmed, they would remind me of the wonderful adventures we'd had together and it gave me the strength to keep going.

As I guide the ups and downs of raising our son, I find myself relying on the lessons we learned during those early days of our relationship. Communication, resilience, and unwavering support have never been more important to me than they are now. And even though our dates look a bit different these days with family outings to the park and backyard picnics becoming the norm and our sense of adventure is our desire to create lasting memories remain unchanged.

I'm endlessly grateful for the adventures my partner and I went on before becoming parents. Even though our dates are different now we still love going on outings as a family. I'm excited to make more special memories with my partner and our little one as we continue this journey together.
