The Longest Night: Holding On as Typhoon Tino Passed

Hello there my lovely hivers!!!

A week before there's information shared to the Netizens that there was a typhoon upcoming. It was said that it would land on Tuesday, November 04,2025. On the night before it would land, my family prepared for it. They cut the big branch of the trees so it would not fall off, and it was said that the northern part of cebu is also affected and it's kind of like deja vu to us since we also experienced the "YOLANDA" and it was super typhoon it happened before my birthday November 08,2013 it was indeed strong there were roof flying on the road and some of the houses were get broken.

The people here in the Northern Part, who survived from the earthquake also fought another disaster. But now, because of the experience in yolanda we learned from it and now we are prepared. The problem for the people in northern were still having a problem a proper shelter on, since some of the houses got cracked and fell off.

Before the typhoon tin landed in our town, we packed the things needed and put it in our car. The advantage of having a mechanic father was we have a lot of cars in here where we would sleep in there safely. We own 2 cars but the 1 car of ours was broken and it's just for our shelter for about 1 month because of the earthquake plus this typhoon.

It was said that it's not safe staying inside of the house because there are still aftershocks happening. The only option we had was staying in the cars. The family side of my father was staying in one of my father's customers and the funny part was that it was the car for the transportation of the pig. As I was asking them, they told me that it smells like poop.

I woke up around 3 Am, and I was looking at our surroundings. I feel so scared hearing the leaves banging because of the habagat. Our car keeps swinging because of the strong wind, and it makes me feel so scared.

This is our situation at 3:00 Am, we moved to another truck. This one has a spacious driving seat there was a foam on the back on the driver seat and it's really comfortable.
