Community Outreach Program | Helping Hands towards the Community

Hello, everyone👋 I hope everyone is well and in good health. Today I wanted to share my weekend experience. We conducted another community outreach program together with our supportive stakeholders "The MAC" and "The United Tabogon Eagles Club (UTEC)".

I arrived early at the venue so I could help with the preparations. I saw these amazing people cooking rice porridge. They were helping each other.

_{Rice Porridge}

I, together with my colleagues and the members of the United Tabogon Eagles Club (UTEC) started to prepare the venue. We arrange the chairs for the participants and beneficiaries of this event.

While others were busy displaying the goods and some stuff to be given to the beneficiaries, we also made the slippers for letter design: the PNP MAC UTEC letters....

When all the beneficiaries arrived, we immediately started the program. We started with a prayer and the emcee introduced the visitors and sponsors of this event.

_{Tree Planting}

Each participants were given fruit-bearing seedlings and planted them in the areas of the venue. Everyone was smiling and had a happy heart while planting.

While others were still planting, the ladies already prepared the rice porridge to be distributed to everybody.

Outreach Program

Children started to fall in line for the free haircut. Policemen and civilians were helping each other to cut the long hair of the children.

Some also fall in line with the distribution of rice porridge. The participants and beneficiaries show happy faces.

We then started to let the children choose the right fit of slippers for them. Everyone was very excited to choose the right slippers for them. They were very busy looking for what they liked.

Then others also give vitamins to the children. They instructed the parents on how to prepare and the dosage of the said vitamins.

There were still ongoing haircutting sessions. More children are on the line.

We then let the beneficiaries play. We cater for them different parlour games with prizes. Prizes were things and goods that could be very useful in the house and chocolates for the children.

After all the activities and games, we then distributed to all the families rice packs and canned goods. Even the little amount, we wish to have them in good health and help their family.

We also distributed school supplies to the children who were already in grade school.

We then ended this fruitful and productive event with a photo op. We hope everyone was happy and go home with a smile and happiness in their hearts❤️
