Happy Father's Day sa lahat ng mga Ama.
Ang paborito kong imahe na kasama ang aking Tatay ay ang pagpunta namin sa bukid. Ang buhay niya ay simple at araw araw niyang binabaybay ang masukal daan, matarik minsan papuntang sakahan. Hindi naman talaga ako kasama sa imahe na nakikita, nasa likod lang ako namamangha parin sa tanawin na aking binabalikan, ang mga bundok kung saan kami ang nagtatanim ng mga halamang ugat. Mani, kamote, kamoteng kahoy at iba pa. Buong buhay niya ginugogol sa pag aalaga at pagtatanim. Umuwi ako at sumama sa kanya sa nag harvest ng kamote isang umaga. Ito ang bagay na aking ipinagpasalamat sa kanya, ang pagtuturo ng halaga sa pagtatanim ng makakain.
Sadyang masarap at maginhawa ang buhay sa bukirin basta marunong ka lang mananim. Libre na pang araw-araw mo.

This photo was taken before we set out on a long drive after our summer outing year 2006. I always ride shotgun with my papa wherever we go. May it be a short ride to church or a long ride to visit family who lives on the province, I always call shotgun! The two of us love talking to each other and we use these rides to talk about everything and anything under the sun. There are times when he'd point to skyways, super highways, malls, old houses, etc., and tell me stories (some real and some might be just hearsays) about it. One of his most favorite roadworks is that of the Magallanes area. He loves how the roads seem to have four tiers 😝 Seeing how much of a skilled driver my papa is made me want to learn how to drive since I was a little girl. A year ago, I was finally able get my driver's license after sooo many attempts. A homage for father's day and my father's 10th year death anniversary.
This is my fave photo of us. It captures my father in his element with me beside him, embracing the man whom I know loves me dearly ❣️
Ang larawang ito ay kuha nong una kaming magkita ng tatay ko sa unang pagkakataon sa buong buhay ko. Nasa edad 80 na sya kaya ang lahat ng mga hinanakit ko sa kanya ay biglang nawala Lalo na nong yakapin nya Ako at humingi ng tawad. Ako ay umuwi ng Samal dahil libing ng tunay Kong nanay na Minsan ko lang Nakita nong grade 6 ata Ako at nong nasa 2nd yr college Ako at sa pangatlong pagkakataon ay libing nya. Iyon din ang naging daan para magkita kami ng tunay Kong ama way back 2016. Yon ang simula ng aming pag-uusap sa telepono pag may pagkakataon. Sya ay binawian ng buhay pagkatapos ng tatlong taon at yon ang aming huling pagkikita.
