Hive PH Contest 10/10 Edition winners and Contest Announcement

Hello everyone! 2 weeks ago, we invited everyone to share their legit budol finds and funny/not so funny budol is real experiences in their online shopping. It was fun reading the entries. Before we announce the winners, let us invite you once again to join us for another round of Hive PH contest.

As early as this time of the year, a lot of Filipinos usually prepare for All Souls' Day and All Saints' day. Pre-pandemic, this is one of the times in the year where families gather together to reunite with one another, including those that have passed on before us. Last year was a little bit different from the previous years where strict restrictions were put to place for social gatherings like reunions.

In this edition of the Hive PH Contest, you can choose on two options for the post you'll share with us. You may select which category you would want to join.

Non Fiction:

We invite you to share how you celebrated All Souls' day & All Saints' day last year and how you plan on celebrating it this year. Let us in on your family traditions or any superstitious beliefs that stood out to you.

Fiction:

Write a short story (may be written in Tagalog, just include an English translation) with the Halloween theme that includes or showcases local folklore of the Philippines. Your entry needs to be a maximum of 1000 words.

Rules:

1. Make your entry as entertaining and engaging as possible.
2. May be written in Tagalog just make sure to include an English translation in your post.
3. Tag 1 or 2 fellow Filipino Hivers to join the contest.
4. Entry needs to be posted on the HivePH Community.
5. Comment the link of your post on the Contest Announcement post
6. Leave engaging comments on other entries.
7. Make sure to observe HivePH rules.

1st Prize: 10 Hive
2nd Prize: 5 Hive
3rd Prize: 3 Hive
