Deliverance: My 2022 Paranormal Horror Experience

It feels like fresh memories still in my head of what happened last March 2022. The scene where only the brave people could afford to look and watch as the elders said. The kind of practice involved opening something, like a portal from the alive and dead. Deliverance is cleansing as my curiosity comes to life; when I aim to look around, it drives me to some terror and horror. Some people who weren't yet seen the activity might not believe or think it was faked and fabricated, but I saw the support, and it made me feel that it is true. There is paranormal.

When I was young, I heard from my elders on my father's side that we are a family of the medium. At first, I didn't know what that was. My older cousins believed she could see something that wasn't explained. When she was young, she didn't want to look at men, for a whole month she didn't like to see older men, why? She could see them as they were not wearing something on their body, but that only lasted for months and eventually came back to normal, but she said she met a friend, something that we cannot see, which also happened to my first sister. She said when she was young, she also experienced an outdoor life happening; someone was always whispering at her; then came my second sister; she said she could also see some weird shadows.

It happened only to girls. We boys don't see anything like them, but it's stopped eventually, one until had been chosen as a medium. Maybe fabricated or anything; I don't know. I was just young when that happened.

Last March, a group of pastors visited my uncle's place. I cannot dispose of the name of the evangelist group. A leader is a pastor, a female medium, and a prayer giver. First, they will make some appointment prayer, and we are all in one place as we pray. It's normal prayer as Pentecost like me, similar to we sing worship songs and lessons of the bible. Then they explained about ghosts and demons. There was no ghost, but there was a demon.

The explanation she gave was:

When Lucifer challenged God, she wasn't alone. They were a group of angels. So when God made Lucifer go down to earth, those angels who made side to Lucifer. They just fell to the ground, and they lived in darkness. Angel fell into water and river; they became the demon as we picture Sirena. Some were afraid, so they just hid in the huge balete trees they were called later kapre, and others chose the ground they called lamang lupa. A demon could give their self-face of deceased people, and they become a ghost as we look upon them.

So what is consumed, and what gives us health risk is not the ghost but the demon.

After the prayer vigil, we were tasked to close all the doors and windows, and only a few will be inside to witness. As I pretend to be brave enough to fill my stomach with curiosity, they have these words that come to their mouth, something I understand because it is Iloko dialect, another English, and others I wasn't familiar with. They are all talking in that words, one by one. It's getting fastest and faster.

The girl who was sitting becomes something else. The color of her skin becomes pale. In some words, she was someone else, not the silent medium but someone just looking at the pastor. What amazed me is that it sounds male though the medium was a girl. He said he wasn't responsible for what was happening; he was just there, but this demon gave some curse to this one person, which happened a long time ago. Still, there was a trace, so the demon was summoned.

They said that this demon (duwende) must remove anything that he gave, or he would be replenished. He did that through action. The girl, as the medium, performs things as she likes removing something in her belly. They talked to this demon about why he did that, and he said my uncle had ruined their home. The pastor asked where that home was, which gave me a goosebumps. How come the medium, who didn't know the place, suddenly spoke the exact position? I was dumbfounded as I heard it.

I do remember seeing a spot in that place. They were (Nuno) or the clay that formed just so suddenly. He has been asked again where they make another home. It's weird, but the medium said it well, even though she had never seen that place. I am familiar with the spot they told formed a new home.

He said they were harmless; they won't dare to harm anyone and don't ruin their new home again. But from that moment, I never dared to go to that spot anymore until now, knowing something was weird going to it.

The thing is that it's just the first one; another had been called. That I think was confidential, for I don't want to judge a living person because she was pointed out; still, it's not easy to call them that way; also, to prevent more chaos. It's a living demon; we somehow called them mangkukulam, she promised to remove anything, and she vowed never to touch any of us again, the family member.

I intend that my entry for the first week of November activity of @hiveph won't be that horror, for I believed in demons but not ghosts. Happy November.
