Despite the challenges brought by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Bogo City, the BCBP Bogo Chapter successfully distributed various goods to the victims of Typhoon Tino. The first phase took place in Liloan, Cebu, and the second phase occurred in Balamban, Cebu, and Asturias, Cebu. These supplies include rice, groceries, bread, water, kitchen utensils, shoes, slippers, sandals, school supplies, and used or new clothes to the people of Liloan, Cantuod, Balamban, Cebu, and Owak, Asturias, Cebu. These towns were severely affected by Typhoon TINO. To ensure the smooth and successful operation of relief goods, the chapter head, together with the governance team and volunteer members, delivered the items personally. It's an overwhelming and fulfilling activity. We saw their smiling faces as they received the simple yet heartfelt supplies. This was the indication of hope and resilience especially during calamities. We've seen how much the victims were greatly affected by Typhoon but because of the various help they find strength, courage, and hope.

This small act of kindness is the BCBP way of showing our compassion and giving hope to the victims that, in times of challenges or calamities, they are not alone. The chapter is grateful to all members and donors who have a generous and loving heart who shared their valuable resources in cash or in kind like clothing, shoes, sandals, slippers, and school supplies. With the continued support of the chapter members, hopefully, there's a 3rd phase of relief distribution soon.
