The Unforgettable Vacation Experience: The Birth of My Son  "Z"

Hey there, fellow hive keepers in this community! How are you doing guys? I hope you are all doing amazing, and having a marvelous day ahead. For today's blog post, I want to share with all of you my journey as a mom and the day I gave birth to my son that holds special in my heart, makes it truly an unforgettable experience for me.

Vacations are usually related with relaxation time, rejuvenation to yourself, and sometimes traveling to new destinations with your family. However, some vacations hold a deeper meaning and importance compared to mere leisurely activities. One such unforgettable experience was when I gave birth to my son "Z" during a vacation last December 2022. The timing of his arrival in this world makes it a truly unforgettable experience that has left an indelible mark on our life.

I was in school, busy talking with my friends, also taking pictures and an uneasiness feeling bothered me because I felt my womb was aching slightly. (Actually this was the time that we don't have classes because teachers are busy preparing for the upcoming event and also the Christmas party hehehe what a perfect timing)I told them what I was feeling, after that I called my husband and I told him that I felt like I was going to give birth to our baby. We called an ambulance and drove off to the Cebu Provincial Hospital(Bogo City).

Welcoming a child into this world is an emotionally captivating happenings for an excited parent like me. Mixed emotions I felt was very unexplainable, with a combination of excitement, nervousness, and overwhelming love creates a cocktail of emotions that can be difficult to quantify in me during my laboring phase. After 2 hours of labor inside the delivery room, I finally gave birth to a healthy and handsome baby boy, my Z has finally arrived in this world. I was mesmerized by his cuteness. Holding him with care in my arms like a fragile glass while he was asleep, makes me want to protect him all my life. Even though he couldn't understand what I was talking about. I still continued to whisper to him on how lucky I am that God sent an Angel like him for me.

It was really an unforgettable vacation experience, because after I was discharged from the hospital. I only rested for one week at home, after that we were able to attend our Christmas party at school. My classmates are really excited to welcome my son. My newborn son in my arms has the overwhelming support and well-wishes received from strangers-turned-friends, this vacation experience became a timeless tale of many support and love given from the positive people that surrounded us.

After the Christmas party, we have a beach outing together with my family and classmates. It was Z's first beach outing and we really enjoyed it.

We also started our prosperous new year together, with a "plus one" in our family. It's a perfect timing that we finally welcome our New Year with abundance of love and happiness, because we enjoy our Yuletide Season with our newborn baby. This vacation took a different turn. Instead of escaping like other people did, enjoying themselves without thinking that they are already a parent. I found myself diving headfirst into an intimate connection with my own existence, with my two sons.

Through my miracles in my life, my two son really brought light, love, and a renewed sense of purpose into our lives, forever cherishing and intertwining this vacation with as the most beautiful chapter of our journey and experience as a family.
