Hello, hello, mga Ka-Hive Keepers! @daenerhys is back again. How are you doing guys? I hope you are all doing great, having good health and a marvelous day. Before I started the topic of my blog, I just wanted to share that I was really sad for consecutive days because I was struggling to manage my time, there are times that, I couldn't meet the exact date of the deadline for the project and I was really sad I got a small grade for those project and I hope I can still recovered it by using my other extracurricular points. I just shared this for a moment, because I want to feel better without being judged and I know that this platform will always give me positive vibes and comments. For today's blog post, I'm going to share with all of you about my experience about being a public speaker and also how I overcome my fear and weakness of speaking in public.

For me, public speaking is usually a weakness to many people, especially when talking in front of the large number of crowds who are watching you, hearing every detail that you speak out. However, being a good speaker is essential for someone like me who has big responsibilities in the field of leadership. I am currently the President of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) in our Student Organization and the Editor-in-Chief of The Inked Hands School Publication. Being a good speaker is one of the characteristics that a student leader must have. Speaking in front of many people was not my forte after losing my confidence. I was unable to speak to the public because of an accident that caused me to stop going to school for almost 6 years. When I decided to go back to school to pursue my educational dreams, I practiced being more confident, especially as I delved into the world of leadership.

This was the time when I was assigned to be one of the speakers of this event, to give a heartfelt message to all the teachers of Ilihan Integrated School, celebrating Teacher's Day. It was a privilege to speak in front of the teachers, recognizing their efforts in nurturing the students and providing good education on our educational journey.

I was also the speaker of this school's big event, which was the Recognition Day of Ilihan Integrated School for the Academic Year 2022-2023. Giving a welcome message to all the attendees, especially the esteemed principal, teachers, students, and supportive parents, was an honor as I stood on the podium to welcome them all to the said event during the program.

At this event, Career Guidance 2023, I was assigned to be the speaker, giving an insightful message to all the students for their future careers. Giving a motivational speech, sharing some of my insights and advice to all the students to pursue their goals and dreams in order to achieve everything they desire.

After this experience as a public speaker, I learned to face the fear in me and overcome my weakness when it comes to speaking in front of many people. At the first phase of my experience as I was talking to many, I was hesitant at first because I was afraid of being judged on grammatical errors and incorrect pronunciation. I have realized that effective communication is very important in many aspects of my life. It helps me a lot, like to be able to eloquent my thoughts and ideas, boosting my leadership skills, and enhances my ability to engage an audience who attended to the event that I was hosted or organized by. Also I learned to become more confident again and I always tell myself that I should not let my weakness clouded me and make me feel less motivated.

Thank you for noticing my blog and taking the time to read until the peak of my blog post. Stay tuned for more of my upcoming blogs, my dear Hive Keepers! Any kind of support means a lot to me. Take care and God bless you all! 💕

Good job @daenerhys. Stage fright is always at the beginning as time goes on you'll use to it na. Keep the fire burning. I know you can manage your time well. God bless.

Thank you so much ma'am @amoreyl for always believing in me. 💕 It's just my first time that I wasn't able to submit my project in the exact date of the deadline that's why I felt sad. I was just being busy on my part time job, taking care of my babies also I was sick that time and I wasn't able to go to school on the day of the deadline.

You're welcome @daenerhys.. At some point in life, there were times like that. Just don't lose hope and always do your best then. I know you can. Such a tough task though doing those things simultaneously and knowing you're sick. Well, there are more chances to cope with the missed deadlines. Think positive lang.
