TCS Christmas Party at Purita Farms Vacation House

Happy holidays, hive friends! I wish you all good health and happiness. Today, I will be sharing with you our experience at Purita Farms Vacation House during the Tabogon Central School Christmas Party.

Last December 20, 2024, the TCS teaching and non-teaching staff held their year-end party at the Purita Farms Vacation House at San Remegio, Cebu. We depart from Tabogon town at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Our kids, Ioseph and Jehoia, were riding in the car of my wife's colleague, Generose, while we traveled using our motorcycle since we needed to buy some stuff at the mall in Bogo City before proceeding to the venue.

We arrived at the vacation house at past 3 in the afternoon. Upon arriving, we looked for our kids and asked them to show us the room where we will be staying. We then stayed with her colleagues and had some conversation. Ma'am Yeyen prepared the foods and the dessert while waiting for the others to arrive. I then told my wife to let the kids enjoy the pool while waiting for dinner. I took some photos of the vacation house since I was attracted to its structure. I also took photos of the kids who enjoyed swimming in the pool. We also had some pomelo, which Generose brought fresh from her backyard garden.

At 6 o'clock in the evening, we were called for our dinner. They asked me to lead the prayer before the meal. After blessing the food, we grabbed some and looked for a place to eat. Ioseph and Jehoia loved the crispy lechon skin so I gave them my share. After the dinner, their school head called their attention to start preparing the area for their program. They placed their gifts and prizes under the Christmas tree.

I went to our room to change my clothes. But I was really sleepy and tired because I woke up at 2 am for our presentation at the church for the Misa de Gallo. I was not able to witness their program, for I was able to sleep while Jehoia was playing with my phone. Their program was finished at midnight, and my wife told me that they enjoyed the games and their dance competition.

My stay in the vacation house was just to relax and have some good vibes after a very tiresome week at school. Early in the morning, the kids again had so much fun at the pool. I told them that they needed to make use of the time since I needed to attend our school party. We decided to celebrate our party at the school grounds as a response to the call of the Philippine President to not hold a lavish party in solidarity with the typhoon victims.

We prepared everything before going home. The kids once again ride the car of Generose, and we depart first because we needed to do important transactions at the bank.
