Oh Jeann, my heart goes out to you and your family. What you’ve shared is so raw and painful. I cannot imagine the heartbreak of preparing to welcome a little life into your world, only to lose him.

Your sister is so blessed to have you beside her. Even through your own pain and fear, you’re showing up for her and doing everything in your power to ease her burden. That moment you described of your sister holding her baby boy on her chest for the first and last time is utterly heartbreaking but also such a precious memory. I hope in time, she finds a little peace in knowing she gave him all the love she could in those brief moments.
