THIRD HIVE PH ONBOARDING WEBINAR! | My first time to get a role in a HIVE webinar

Hey there!

A little back story, I was fortunate to get accepted of the role @ocd onboarder last September 8. Grateful and thankful to @acidyo and @ybanezkim26 and the whole OCD community for this opportunity. It is a privilege and a responsibility to be an onboarder as it would mean I get to help the community grow, guide newbies in their blogging journey using this platform and help introduce them to the world of cryptocurrency.

I can say it is a pretty challenging role to onboard people. Most of them thinks that this kind of blogging is too overwhelming, cryptocurrency is complicated, doubting of this income opportunity, their writing sucks, etc. I mean those were my thoughts before too, but I'm glad @thegaillery had so much patience in guiding me to start. She became my role model in teaching my onboarded members on how to start as well.

Some of the things I did to get people interested is posting it on my social media accounts such as Instagram stories, my youtube channel and my facebook page. I did get some messages from my friends asking me about it, but they didn't really push through. I was only successfully able to onboard already active content creators who post in different platforms.

I guess I need to widen my network and find existing or aspiring content creators as they already have the fire to blog/vlog. But I really also want to encourage those people who doubt they could write or make videos because I am sure everyone has an interesting story to tell. Like you don't really have to be that good of a writer or editor because we can all just improve along the way. I mean basically that's what happened to me, I just started to write and capture moments and eventually found that this is really enjoyable and stress-relieving, other than that, I am able to really document my experiences and meet interesting people who I can learn from.

I also have to try more ways to share and show people that this platform can be beneficial for them (as a financial opportunity such as earn Hive, stake their Hive to earn interest or even have HBD savings that gives as much as 10% annual return which you can't find anywhere else in the Philippines offering that, make their online diary, be a valuable member of the community etc) and that this community can benefit from them as well (as content creators, sharing learnings, culture, strengthen the community etc.).

3RD HIVE PH ONBOARDING WEBINAR

Did you attend the 3rd Hive PH Onboarding webinar last Saturday, Nov. 20?

If so, what did you learn? What do you think about the topics discussed? How was the presentation and the speakers? Did it meet your expectations? Was it efficient and effective for newbies?

As an initiative of the @hiveph onboarders to be more active and spread the word about Hive, they've been organizing webinars to introduce this platform to interested Filipinos. And as an onboarder as well, I was given my FIRST EVER ROLE on the 3rd webinar to be one of the speakers. I was tasked to discuss how easy it is to post content step by step. It was a pretty easy topic but I think I still need more confidence, engagement to the audience and energy when presenting. 🤣 will work on that. haha

If you attended, I do appreciate feedbacks about our presentation, we tried to make it clear and easy to understand, on time and just present the relevant information.

I am thankful to my fellow facilitators @indayclara, @intoy.bugoy and @ybanezkim26 for allowing me to be part of this. For the guidance and comments of @romeskie , @adamada and @tpkidkai , thank you and I hope to get to know you more and learn from you guys as we work together in sharing the value of Hive in general!
