Productive Mundane Day: A Swift Classroom Drop-In

Last Friday was just an ordinary day for my family when my line of thinking about my classroom bothered me. The opening of classes is about to start and I have to check if my four walls for learning are ready enough. Time flies so fast, vacation is over. I want more. Hahaha! But anyway, it's already accustomed by educators. This scenario is not new for us. Laban💪!

Going There🚗

It was around half past ten when we decided to go. Good thing my partner accompanied me and my in-laws offered to take good care of our son. I’m quite happy and a little bit sad for a moment. Hahaha! Elated because I’m with him. Gloomy because I was unable to escape the fluctuating price of the fuel. We need to gas up. Hahaha!

We were traversing the so-called 'shortcut way or the highland road'. The route is from San Fernando Parish Church Liloan, Cebu just take the left side of the highway if you’re going to Cebu City from the North. Just go straight, it advances to Consolacion and then reaches the NRP or the ( North Road Properties).

We chose to take this path due to time constraints and light traffic. And yes! There wasn't much congestion on the road. It was a seamless ride and a cozy chitchat with my partner.

Midday Meal😋

When we are together and just have surplus cash, we can surely splurge for food. Dining together is one of our ways of fostering positive emotions and connections as a couple.

After discussing numerous dining choices, we ultimately chose 'Chowking' a fast food restaurant in Guadalupe branch across Chinabank.

This was what we eventually decided on because we were craving to sip a piping-hot broth of Wanton Mami. Chowking is widely known for its fusion of Chinese and Filipino flavors. It offers a variety of Chinese-Filipino dishes including rice meals, noodles – one of my favorite, crispy fried chicken, halo-halo which is good for the summer season, siopao (steamed buns), and more.

If you are both a Chinese and Filipino cuisine lover, then Chowking suits you!

It was a value-for-money meal. We belched inside their lively and bustling atmosphere.

Final Classroom Embellishments🏫

Finally, we arrived at our main destination. My disturbance was replaced with joy. I wanted to double-check if my classroom was adequately prepared for the upcoming opening of classes. As a public servant, I simply desire to make all things well and conducive for learning for my prospective learners to be motivated and inspired to go to school every day. Happily, it was almost near the finish line.

I just let my partner help me dust off the windows, tables, and chairs, He also swept the floor. I arranged some of my additional stuff to be utilized in my four walls of learning. After one hour of doing some final touches, I can say, It's ready and I'm ready too!

In life, we must always be primed and ready for any trials, storms, and dilemmas that might strike us down, as we are all withstanding for our continuance. If we are unready, then we need to be tough and resilient to overcome difficulties in life. Setbacks are an intrinsic part of life that fettle our experiences, viewpoints, potentials, and growth trajectory as an individual.

Heading Home🚗

At half past two, we were heading home. We were taking the same route. As evident, there was no congestion! Hehehe!
Our day ended with this living pretty sight.

It can elicit a sense of hope as they mark the promise of a new tomorrow that awaits.
