A day well spent together with our family is very delightful. Our parents are getting older and so are we, there's a need to allocate time with them as much as possible. Time being wasted never comes again. Therefore, time should be spent wisely together with our loved ones before it's gonna be late. Remember there's no rewind, everything is getting forward. Boom!
Hooray for today fellow hivers! It's another weekend to enjoy life with our family. I hope everything is fine with all of you there no matter what circumstances you are in right now. Just bear in mind that everything is passing by what matters most is that we live our life to the fullest with the people whom we loved and cared for. Enjoy reading until the end guys! Stay tuned!
The Beautiful Site at our Balcony...
It feels great to start a day seeing this wonderful creature of nature. The courage to go through is there as it speaks about how beautiful life is. Being able to wake up and see the wonders of the world is a substantial opportunity then. Much more with the person who dearly matters to us.
As I have shared with you in my previous blog that we went to the city for my final pelvic ultrasound. This is the continuation of what was our errands that day. The sun is shining as we started our travel going to the city. The most excited one was my son as he wanted to play inside the Kid's Paradise in SM. That's my next blog then.
Right after I am done with my pelvic ultrasound and had my results at hand, we went to SM to have our lunch and later buy the things which they wish to have as my husband was telling me to buy something for them. He gave me money for this by the way. At first, I told him it was not necessary but he insisted because we seldom go to the city which is why make use of the time then to buy something new.
This was the only picture I have during the shopping moment. My mother has chosen a shoulder bag which costs 1000 pesos or 17.79$. She was the one also looking for my stepbrother's shirt and shorts which cost 800 pesos or 14.23$ and for my son's shirt and shorts as well which cost 2000 pesos or 35.58$. My stepsister, my cousin, and my stepfather opted to have cash. The smiles on their faces were so priceless.
And of course, for my baby, we bought this for her. My husband suggested that we should buy like this since we have a very hyperactive son at home. Just to avoid something happening, we believe that having this is much safer. I also bought another foot cover for her. I paid 5000 pesos or 88.95$ for our daughter's stuff then.
Disregard my wants, seeing them at their happiest makes me the happiest too! During this time we let the kiddos be in the Kid's paradise together with my stepsister as it makes them feel tired of walking and doing the shopping with us. There inside, they will enjoy and spend their time playing the whole hour while we're away.
After our shopping, we proceeded immediately to the kid's paradise if the kiddos were outside and done with their time playing there. We found out that they were not so I asked my parents if they wanted to try this kind of massage they have there. It costs 100 pesos or 1.78$ good for 30 minutes per person. Then they said that they wanted to because their feet were aching walking and strolling in the mall. Their wish is my command. So, here they are relaxing for a moment.
When the kids were done, we ate our dinner and went back home afterward. We passed through the CCLEX or Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway for the first time which is the
country's longest and tallest bridge. It's an amazing experience as well. The tool fare there is 90 pesos or 1.60$.
To sum it up, we had a great day! Money can be earned anytime but the time we have lost and are not able to spend with our family cannot be returned which is why there's a must to focus on the now and entertain the later. It's therefore important to give importance to the things we have while we still have them. We don't know what lies ahead. It's better not to have regrets in the end.

Seems like an early christmas shopping for your family! Loved how your husband willingly and wanted your family to buy something or enjoy whatever they want during your day trip. Also, you should buy for yourself from time to time. I mean being a mom is just the most rewarding role you are playing in this life right now.

Exactly. We only live once. Spending quality time with the family is the best and the greatest treasure we can give to them.
