The company was called the same as the beer, four years later, it merged with Cervecería Maracaibo and formed Cervecerías Unidas Zulia and Maracaibo.In 1945, they took their name again as Cervecería Zulia, ten years later it became part of C.A Cervecera Nacional. In 1994, after the acquisition of this brewery, Cerveza Zulia now belongs to the Ambev Venezuela portfolio. Spend a good time without making this beer and it is until 2008 where it is relaunched again to the market. It was presented as a limited edition but it was successful and they decided to continue its development.

In 2012, this beer reached the market again, but through the company Cervecería Regional and is once again accepted by consumers both nationally and internationally. It presents a new design, opting for a green color in the bottles, making a nod to the model of the 50s, and an intense yellow tone in the can.

La empresa se llamaba igual a la cerveza, cuatro años más tarde, se fusiona con Cervecería Maracaibo y forman Cervecerías Unidas Zulia y Maracaibo, En 1945, retoman su nombre nuevamente como Cervecería Zulia diez años más tarde pasa a formar parte de C.A Cervecera Nacional. En 1994, tras la adquisición de esta cervecería, Cerveza Zulia pertenece ahora al portafolio de Ambev Venezuela. Pasa un buen tiempo sin fabricar esta cerveza y es hasta el 2008 donde se relanza nuevamente al mercado. Se presento como una edición limitada pero tuvo éxito y decidieron continuar su elaboración.

En 2012, esta cerveza llega nuevamente al mercado, pero a través de la empresa Cervecería Regional y es aceptada nuevamente por los consumidores tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Presenta un nuevo diseño, optan por un color verde en los botellines, haciendo un guiño al modelo de los años 50, y un tono amarillo intenso en la lata.
