Beer Thirstday: The Grunnening
From our own province Groningen its capital Groningen, the Martinus brewery, @rodino got 6 smashing ones (as a present from his oldest son). We're starting off with the 'Lager der A' at 4.2 percent.
After that there is 'Peerd' an IPA at 5.8%. Then a 'Blond' at 6.5 percent. Followed by an autumn bock 'De 5e klok' at 7%. Finally we're going to enjoy the Tripel at 8.6 and last but not least we'll enjoy a Smoked Porter at 9%.

proost dat ziet er uit als een mooie collectie
Proost! Het was een fijn setje. Alleen de Herfstbok was wat teleurstellend. De Smoked Porter was een aangename verrassing.
I love those labels - 1920's art deco look rocks
They look very stylish indeed, a work of art. Really like this overall theme.

Well, we started off with a blast, the lager and Peerd were nice but a bit bitter at the end.
We did not like the 5th clock autumn double brown one.
We came in the good flow with the Tripel.
These are the better ones! 😀

The first one was a light refreshing one. And with the Tripel it indeed started to Rock! 😁 Looking forward to the Smoked Porter.
