BEER
BeeeEEerrRrrrr...
Sweet, Juicy... BEER!

This past weekend at the beach, me and my husband decided to try a few local, craft beers! Some of them are fruity...some of them are ... questionable...

..lets get to it!
here's my full, amateur review of the 5 craft beers we tried!

One Great City Brewing Co. This one was called Tan Lines... what an appropriate beer name to have on the beach, IT WAS MADE FOR THE BEACH!!!!! plus the colors are amazing!

so this beaut was a fruity beer, 4.5% alcohol, which is kinda on par with a normal alcohol percentage for a beer. AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE, there is a cute little watermelon on the can, obviously sun tanning so when David and i took a sip, we were both like "Tastes Melony" ... then realized... duh... there's a fucking watermelon on the front! LOL

read this description ! Watermelon & Muddled with MINT! i did not taste any mint (which I'm happy about because mint isn't a fav of mine)

7/10... would definitely buy this one again!

NEXT UP... Grain to Glass Brewing Co. i think that is by far one of the cleaver...est... names for a beer company .. IMO! Creamsicle Ale, this one wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, therefor was a GOOD thing in my books, but unfortunately it just didn't hit me the way I was hoping it would!

5.5% alcohol, which is SLIGHTLY higher then normal (5% is roughly the norm for Canadian beers, i ... think? don't quote me on this!) so, this one has a lovely, what looks to me as a orange float, but the word creamsicle always reminds of me creamsicle ice-cream popsicles! so... that's what I was hoping it would taste like...

not much to say on the back of this beer, which is disappointing because the first beer was so fun to read... AND DRINK!

4/10 ... a little harsh, i know. The only thing i got out of this beer was that fact it was not as sweet as i thought it would be, unfortunately it was such a weird, off sort of orange taste, almost SUPER fake. I will NOT be purchasing this one again!

Another Grain to Glass Brewing Co. "In A Nutshell" LOVE that name... although instantly I thought of... a nutty beer, possibly along the lines of a hazelnut or a peanut.... which I wasn't completely wrong because it is a peanut butter porter!

6.5% alcohol... which is VERY high for a beer, being a porter it is a darker beer. Again, with the graphics i thought it would be like a "float" type beer for some reason.. ALSO, those peanuts look like dog bones now that I look closer LOL!

again, boring and same generic description on the back of the beer, I will give it a few points for the can itself (although most craft beer cans are hella cool) this one had awesome, fall-ish vibes to it!

2/10 ... it was disgusting... I'm giving it a 2 for the artwork, EVEN THOUGH the peanuts looked like fucking dogbones. It takes NOTHING like peanut butter. I will NOT be even spending my money on this one, unfortunately.

We are off the beach and back home to try the last 2 craft beers! This one is called "Cherry Beer" ...wait till you see the artwork!

299109712_493052749314754_7760958208515814580_n.jpg
STUNNING! even though its super "basic" I ADORE the colors, the artwork, the everything! ... ALSO, IMO, cherry is one of the BEST flavors ever!

5% alcohol & classified as a SOUR ALE. I like sour, who doesn't like sour! Sour Cherry Beer, COLD beer... sounds so refreshing on a hot summer day. ALSO, I love the minimalistic, clean look of this beer can.

quick sip, keep it healthy...

9/10 ... Probably the best one of the bunch, even though my face might tell a different story! but I LOVE sour! so if you like sour, you will enjoy this beer! a little on the sweeter side, therefor it got knocked down to a 9. Fix the sweetness and you get a PERFECT score!

Last ... but certainly not least, coming from the Torque Brewing Company, is a Brown Ale called Diabolically Decadent! Literally one of the coolest beer cans I have seen... ever! reminds me of pirates for some reason. I am not too sure what the difference between a DARK ale and a BROWN ale are, to me they seemed a little the same.

5.3% alcohol.
Keep Cool. Drink Fresh.
I LOVE The graphics even on the back! The quote from Abraham Lincoln as well gives this can such a nice added personal touch of uniqueness... and this is just THE SIDE of the can...

BOOM! this is the back of the can! the FREAKING FACT they have a QR code for a fucking cookie recipe gives it a 10/10 ... Caramel, Chocolate and Espresso ... YES! everything you want in a DECADENT, Hoppy beer, you will get in this fine beauty of a ale!

8/10 … although the design of the can is spot on, the flavor is decadent, I'm not the greatest fan of chocolate. I know, what girl isn't a fan of chocolate?

Until Next Time

The photos from the beach turned out great. They make me thirsty and want to go back to the beach!

Beautiful and colorful entry. Those drinks look so tempting. I hope to sip them one after the other someday. ☺

I love how colorful craft beers are!
