Yeah, I had high hopes of these two but they weren't great in the end. I agree that a sweeter beer can be good if it's more complex, or if it's balanced out with a lot of bitterness in the finish.

Luckily I have a stocked fridge of all sorts of different beers to give it another go. There are bound to be some good ones in there!
