Polar Venezuela Beer

is a Venezuelan beer produced by Cervecería Polar. Venezuelan Cerveza Polar is a pilsen type beer, with 5º ABV.

Cerveza Polar, since 1941
In 1941, Cerveza Polar appeared for the first time. The beer was brewed west of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, more specifically in Antímano. Two years later, Cervecería Polar would sign the master brewer who would change the recipe of Polarcita beer forever. We are talking about Carlos Roubicek, who would consolidate Polar as the best-selling beer in Venezuela. This success could also be due to the fact that it was a national beer, and its competition was the small regional breweries.

The adaptation of Cervecería Polar to the new times
The throne that placed Cerveza Polar as the leading Venezuelan beer was snatched away between 1999 and 2002. The beer tastes of Venezuelans underwent a drastic change at that time. Venezuelans began to opt for light beers. This forced Cervecería Polar to bet on the light beer sector, adding its Cerveza Polar Light to its portfolio in 2008.

The Polar Girls
Since 1941, when Cerveza Polar was born, its logo was not modified until 2002. This meant a radical change in the Venezuelan brand. From then on, the new brand would be linked to a large advertising campaign that would incorporate well-known Venezuelan models. These models would now become the Chicas Polar. The models that formed this cast known as Chicas Polar were Norelys Rodríguez, Annarella Bono, Marjorie de Sousa, Gaby Espino, Daniela Kosán, Deisy Arvelo and Norkys Batista. Although many other models were part of this group of women who represented the image of Cervecería Polar.

In the logo of Cerveza Polar appears, of course, a polar bear. This Polar symbol even became a mascot with the name of Pedroso.
