"Do you want to drink a glass of wine with us or are you going to drink something else?", my wife asked me as I put the plates on the table for our guests.
I knew what was for lunch, everything was strong and spicy food, so I knew that the Bermet wine (dessert) that our guests would drink after lunch, would not satisfy my thirst.
"Thanks dear, I'll grab some beer for myself from the fridge."
Some beer, in fact there were two that I had already planned to drink in a package, and to share with you here in #BeerSaturday the experiences of that tasting.
The appetizer is set.
Chopped prosciutto, smoked cheese, kulen (spicy sausage) and ordinary dry sausage, with a salty roll with sour cream, ham and grated cheese and the inevitable Russian salad.
Along with that appetizer, I took a Lager beer from the Robocraft brewery, which has already been mentioned here several times.
Cyber Punk, Lager beer
With 4.5% alcohol.
Water, malted barley, hops and yeast are all ingredients of this refreshing beer.
I somehow managed to find space on the table between the plates and take a picture of this beer, while plates with food can be seen in the background. If anyone is hungry, I apologize for causing trouble 🙂
After pouring the beer into the glass, it has a cloudy color because it is unfiltered. It gives a rich foam in the glass. It is a malty beer, low bitterness and well balanced, with slight citrus notes, light body.
Along with the appetizer, I downed it in a few gulps.
It was nice to refresh me and quench my thirst.
"Sarma" with dried meat and roast pork were brought to the table.
Along with those two dishes, I opted for a higher alcohol beer.
For this reason, a can was found next to the glass
Hoptimus Primal, West coast IPA, unfiltered, unpasteurized beer with 7.5% alcohol, from the same brewery, Robocraft.
I believe that there are no doubts about the cut of the roast, you know what it is, and do you know what "Sarma" is? If anyone is interested, I can explain in the comments, so as not to spoil the beer post with food recipes 🙂
I open the can and the beautiful refreshing smell of hops from this beer spreads around me.
After pouring, the foam is not too high, about a finger, but it holds OK.
The foam didn't come off until I was done with the sarma from my plate.
After the sarma, it was the turn of the roasting, and the taste of this beer, with its distinct taste of hops, did not spoil the taste of the food in the mouth, namely, everything blended together nicely.
The refreshing taste and smell given to this beer by the hops means that the increased percentage of alcohol is not felt, and the dark yellow, almost brown color of the beer. it went well with the nicely roasted, crispy skin of this pork roast.
After finishing lunch, we moved away from the table and while the ladies were drinking Bermet red wine, I was slowly sipping my Hoptimus primal.
We agreed to play a movie, and everything kind of fit in with the aRobocraft theme, since we watched Atlas, a movie with Jennifer Lopez, a movie about robots and AI in the future.
I have to mention, in that movie, in the far future (and maybe not so far 🙂 ), no one was shown drinking beer?
That's why we drink it, for enjoyment and representation in the #Beer community
an ipa with 7.5 % of alcohol, calm down it is a strogn beer but i would like drink one :D
