Like an odyssey into the world of beer

in BEER2 days ago

After I bought a few cans of Robocraft beer at the market, I asked everyone here in the #Beer community: first in what order to drink these beers, then from which glasses 😁
And I got answers to all those questions - Thanks to my beer drinking friends 🙂
How else can a beginner learn..

After those questions, I tasted one by one and gave my opinion:
Milkshake IPA

Red IPA

IPA...

Now it's time to taste the Imperial DIPA, the last remaining can from that purchase (until I buy more of their beers, because if they are as good as these four, it would be a shame not to try them).

Inspired by the Kubrick/Clark Odyssey in space, when with the support of the HAL supercomputer, the expedition goes to a distant planet to discover the mystery of the black monolith, which affects human existence and evolution, so brawery Robocraft decides to make its own HAL beer, which will make us, the beer drinkers, lead on a research mission of mysterious, stronger, double-hopped beer.

Imperial DIPA, double IPA is aunfiltered and unpasteurized. contains 8% alcohol.

Since I didn't know what to expect from this beer, I left its tasting for a moment when I know that I certainly won't have to go out into the city by car.

The reason?
Contains 8% alcohol.
Until now, I rarely had the opportunity (that is, I rarely ordered and bought beers with a higher % alcohol), to drink such beers.

I remember a few years ago, in Amsterdam, I bought several cans with a stronger % alcohol, but when I opened the can and poured it into a glass, a strong smell of alcohol hit my nose.
This was not the case with this Imperial DIP.
After opening the can, a little foam covered the lid of the can, spreading the refreshing smell of citrus aroma.

After pouring the beer into my new glass, whether because of the glass itself or because of the quality of this beer, the foam was persistent, with a nice smell. Beer color, yellow, opaque.

Along with the beer, I also prepared lunch - some grilled meat (patties, kebabs, rolled chicken...), something that goes great with beer.

The first sip, which required my nose to be in the glass, made it clear to me why the construction of the glass is important for drinking IPA beers.

The smell of citrus and fruit that you feel on the nose, pours on the tongue with a sip, creating the impression of a very, very strong aroma of hoppy beer. and what is most important to me, not even a little alcohol.

The taste of hops lingers in the mouth until the first bite of grilled meat.
After that, the combination of warm grilled meat goes perfectly with refreshing sips of doube IPA beer.

As godfish gave me useful tips for these beers, I would like to thank him and wish him a speedy and complete recovery (they gave you away at Hive Fest so you couldn't attend due to health issues).
I'm missing your posts about Czech pubs, so as soon as you're fully recovered, I'd like to invite you to a short walk to a nearby brewery for a small beer for #beersaturday
