Jak spousta z vás ví, trávím hodně času za volantem. Často jezdívám kolem různých pivovarů, ale méně často mám čas a možnost zastavit a koupit si nějaký „vzorek“ piva.
Je to však asi 14 dnů, co jsem měl poslední zastávku v malebném městě Telč v kraji Vysočina.
Považte! Jsou zde tři řemeslné pivovary! A já měl čas jen na jeden :-/.

Vybral jsem si ten mimo hlavní cestu, kde byla šance odstavit náklaďák aby nepřekážel.

As many of you know, I spend a lot of time behind the wheel. I often drive past various breweries, but less often I have the time and opportunity to stop and buy a "sample" of beer.
However, it's been about 14 days since my last stop in the picturesque town of Telč in the Vysočina region.
Think about it! There are three craft breweries here! And I only had time for one :-/.

I chose the one off the main road, where there was a chance to park the truck so it wouldn't get in the way.

Nesměle jsem vešel do výčepu, zvědavě se rozhlédl a ještě nesměleji požádal obsluhu o vše, co mají v lahvích. Bylo toho sedm „kousků“.

Ještě dnes nemám dopito :-).
Takže zatím malá recenze na tři piva z produkce PTT.

Sotto Zero
Svrchně kvašené nealkoholické pivo, které barvou vzdáleně připomíná Hazy IPA.

Tuším, že udělat opravdu dobré nealko je nelehká věc. Koupit si takové pivo je tak „sázka do loterie“.
Vsadil jsem si a nevyhrál.

Vůní to připomínalo džus z tropického ovoce. V chuti vlastně také. Sladké s trochou ovocné kyselosti, velmi sycené. Po hořkosti chmele však není ani památky.
Netvrdím, že je to vyloženě špatné „pivo“. Jedno ochutnání mi však stačí minimálně do mého odchodu do důchodu.

I guess making a really good non-alcoholic beer is not an easy thing. Buying such a beer is like "taking a lottery bet".
I bet and didn't win.

The smell reminded me of tropical fruit juice. The taste actually did the same. Sweet with a bit of fruity acidity, very carbonated. However, there is no trace of the bitterness of hops.
I'm not saying that it's a bad "beer". However, one taste is enough for me at least until I retire.

Překvapila mě vůně citrusů, kterou bych v „české desítce“ opravdu nečekal. Sládek asi popustil uzdu své fantazii a inspiroval se někde v cizině. Podle chuti v tomto pivu na 80% není česká odrůda chmele. Typoval bych to spíše na Mosaic nebo ještě něco jiného.
Dalo se to pít, ale nenadchlo.

I was surprised by the citrus aroma, which I really wouldn't have expected in a "Czech Ten". The brewer probably let his imagination run wild and got his inspiration from somewhere abroad. Judging by the taste, this beer is 80% non-Czech hop variety. I would rather call it Mosaic or something else.
It was drinkable, but not exciting.

Přes vůni chmele byl cítit i závan alkoholu. V chuti trochu hořkosti na patře a na jazyku špetka jablek a sladu. To celé se zrnkem soli. Trochu jsem si připadal, jako bych si omylem nalil do sklenice nějakou medicínu proti nachlazení. Tuší někdo jak chutnají Hoffmanské kapky? Já ne. Ale podíval jsem se do Googlu a zjistil, že hlavní složkou je etanol a éter.
Další pivo, které se dá pít, ale už si ho nekoupím.

I felt a bit like I had accidentally poured some cold medicine into a glass. Does anyone know what Hoffman's drops taste like? I don't. But I looked on Google and found that the main ingredient is ethanol and ether.
Another beer that is drinkable, but I will not buy it again.

Tak nevím, jestli mám divné chutě, nebo jsem natrefil na nepovedené vzorky. Je to poprvé, co jsem si na řemeslných pivech moc nepochutnal.
Snad budou ostatní vzorky něčím „přitažlivější“.
Tím nechci tvrdit, že v PTT vaří špatné pivo. Jen mi to prostě nesedlo.

Pokračování asi za týden, až dopiju poslední vzorek.

I don't mean to say that PTT brews bad beer. I just didn't like it.
