The story of Curly
Curly is a tiny cat who came along with the gang outside the entrance last year. She has this tail curled on top of her back and we (hubby and I) started calling her Curly. She is still very small in size compared to the other stray cats and I am sure she has not reached her first year when she became mommy.
Curly is a friendly cat and she was coming close to us each time. It wasn't suprising that she was expecting babies so early. Vet told us that stray cats start on heat much earlier than the domestic cats. But somehow she looks so fragile and not quite ready.
One day we were coming back from walk with the dog and Curly tried to enter inside the building, mewing in a way she was asking for help. Hubby said that she searched for a place to give birth. He took a box and old jumper and put them outside the entrance. Just in time. Curly gave birth to two kittens right away - black and grey. She looked a bit disoriented. Together with another neighbour we gave her fresh water and food and left her to recover. The next days she proved to be a good mommy and we watched the kittens grow.
They poked their heads out of the box at first and then became brave enough to go out.
But still not going away from their mother.
The little faces melts hearts and soon the family become popular and loved by other neighbours. Unfortunately there are still some grumpy and sad people who don't like them. I wonder how one can be so indifferent or not to like these cuties.
Thanks to our cares the family is doing well and kittens grow healthy. Hubby took all three of them and deworm them at the vets. It was not hard at all to put them in the box and they behaved well. Nobody was scratched or bitten. Curly being confident among us, let people play with her kittens.
If I had no cats at home, I would take this sweet family with me. I hope they will have a good fortune. We will take care of them as long as we could.

I love cats! but I ask you, why don't you adopt her? I have the impression that she doesn't live with you. You can sterilize her and she won't reproduce anymore. If there are only two kittens, it is possible that she would only have one father for the children. Several cats can "mount" the cat in a short period of time and the kittens can be from different fathers.

I have already adopted two cats and a dog and I can't keep more animals in an appartment.
Otherwise I would take Curly home together with the kittens.

I can't understand how some people don't like cats. They are all so lovely and I believe life would be less interesting without our cats around 🐱

Aww thank you so much. Cats can be so entertaining. Mine keep us busy all the time but without time life will be boring indeed.

Our old cat died in the beginning of 2020 and because we were missing a cat around us we got 2 kitten a few months later. I have made a post about them back then, but that's a while ago.

Oh yeah, I remember Blue, beautiful cat and so photogenic 😁 and I remember also Furry. I think, our Pete will become like her, although our daughter takes care that they don't eat too much. She always tell them "stop eating so much, look how big your stomach is!" 🤣

BEER.Oh we have plenty of stray dogs here not many cats. We feed and care for them like you do but we cannot adopt them since we have two dogs already. We keep putting up their pictures in local social media groups to try and find them good homes.
These are so cute.
We had huge problem with stray dogs. Some years ago the campaign to sterilize them was held and reduced their population, but not for cats. Same here in social media, we have groups dedicated to find homes for cats and dogs.
The funny thing here is all these strays are supposed to be sterilized but last month one gave birth to ten pups, now we have 9 + mom to feed and care for. LOL

Poor animals are like little angels, I don't understand how there are people who like us and much less understand how there are people who want to hurt them. I hope they can find a home for all of them so they don't continue to be in danger on the streets. Thank you very much for helping Curly and her puppies 💖
