Last year, around the same dates, a grey cat was visiting us almost every day, although it was obvious that he had his real owners. Probably one of the neighbours. I was waiting to see this grey cat again this year, but you never know with cats. They come and go when they want. I was not sure if he would like to come again but a few days ago he finally visited us again. He didn't change at all, and also he still has the same capricious character.
He was running toward me with a lot of enthusiasm when I called him. As if he just waited to see me! One moment of illusion and then I realized the cuddles would not happen in real.
No food? No cuddles! Maybe that's his motto!
His preference was chilling on the pavement, without even looking at me.
Occasionally I managed to pet the grey
silly cat, the visitor I waited for one whole year. But that was all.
Cats have more interesting things to do. Sleep. Rest. Eat. Being grumpy. Observe the birds.
Those little birds have a nest in the covered entrance of the house and usually come back every spring. However, there is no much love between them and the cat... he was chased away by them.
A nicer place to have a nap is the grass. It's a softer surface... More comfortable than the concrete pavement and also the "dangerous" birds are not around. Just to check everything once again!
The control was done and the place picked. Now he just needed some peace and nobody around to bother him.
@alt3r , do you think that Tziki actually has a twin brother that ended up in my garden? I hope that she has a milder character than this guy 😁

He is very much like an invader that has practically been living in my backyard for about 3 months. I found out where the invader here is from, he belongs to the neighbor and his name is Leo. Unfortunately, he and my cat Ariel sometimes fight and I need to be careful whenever he's around because my cat is already a 10-year-old lady and is no longer in very good health to get involved in fights..lol
Yes, sometimes neighbour cats come as visitors or invaders. I didn't see this one for a year, well, more because I was not here.
I hope the cat that visits your backyard will not make more problems and fight with your 10-years-old cat 🐈

Haha, I'm not sure if Tziki has a twin brother, but it's definitely possible! Cats are known for their independent and sometimes grumpy personalities, so it's not surprising that this guy wasn't interested in cuddles. But I'm glad you were able to get some pictures of him, he's a handsome cat!
I hope that his twin sister is a bit more affectionate, but even if she's not, I'm sure she'll still be a welcome visitor to your garden. Cats bring so much joy to our lives, even if they're not always as cuddly as we would like them to be!
He is independent and probably living with some of the neighbours. He came today again and was more friendly. I gave him food that he liked, I think that is why he liked me today 😁
