Leona's Catdiary - Cat bath... We like it?

This week want to talk about cats' baths, there are some myths about cat tutors about it. Also, I'm creating funny memes and selecting gifs about it to share. It's already time to take my bath before winter comes.

As most humans know, we cats are the embodiment of cleanliness. Since I was a little kitty, I learned how to clean myself.

Many humans don't worry so much if the cat takes a bath, as the kitty spends long moments cleaning itself, through delicate licks. But do we need baths?

Our Licking is well known among all cat tutors, as it is with the so-called “self-cleaning” that the cat bathes.

Who has ever been licked by a cat knows that we have a very rough tongue. This helps the moment of feline hygiene, removing impurities and dead hair from our bodies.

But if your cat is licking itself too much, search for a vet. Some diseases and parasites, such as fleas and ticks, cause discomfort that leads the pet to excessive licking, which can have more serious consequences for our health.

My vet recommends that we go through a deeper bath occasionally, to remove the impurities that can accumulate.

So try to your cat occasional baths, to ensure better health for him/her.

It's false that we don't like water. Some felines love water, go into rivers to refresh, and hunt without a big deal. Cats too.

But since we don't shower often, we're not used to the water, so we can get stressed.

We like warm water. This helps a lot since we like a warm bath.

Our products, soaps, and shampoo must be chosen carefully, as we have very sensitive skin, especially to smells.

That way we will always have a beautiful coat, also counting on brushing our hair.

To accustom cats to water, it is best to introduce us to water as soon as possible, since a puppy. This will make bathing easier in the future.

My vet told me that from two months of age, you can start adapting with baths.
