Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Of course, it is the weekend once again and that means my favorite day of the week: Caturday!

Circular sleeping places are the BEST!

Once again we're having a fairly quiet time around here because the Mom-Hooman took a three day trip to Colorado where she was taping a TV show in connection with her work.

She's a "pretty big deal" in her area of expertise, according to the Dad-Hooman.

Of course it is extra quiet around here because we're still getting used to not having Daisy the dog in the house.

You don't realize how much noise a dog makes when it moves around until you've had one in your life for a long time... and then all of a sudden you don't have one!

I have mostly been napping for the past couple of days. Every now and then I wake up and watch the Dad-Hooman as he tries to do a whole bunch of different stuff, because he always does that when the Mom-Hooman is away.

I think he gets so busy so that she's all happy and shiny when she comes home to a clean house and house projects that have been done.

Thankfully, we've had a number of nice warm and sunny days and I have been sleeping in the sunny spots in front of the open door behind the screen door. That's one of my favorite things about summer!

It is the Mom-Hooman's birthday on Monday but since she's been traveling we're probably going to have a very quiet day. Besides, she doesn't really like surprise parties.

And, as a fairly nervous cat, I can well appreciate her line of thinking! I very much prefer to know in advance what's going to happen.

Of course it is not one of my favorite things about the world when the Cryptosphere takes a nosedive like it did yesterday. Yikes! What is up with that?

Things weren't going all that well for Hive to begin with, and now we're down around the lowest we've been since September? Not much to be hopeful about, there!

Sometimes I just feel like hiding...

I suppose it just goes to show that crypto has become more and more mainstream and so when there's bad news about the economy it affects crypto just as much as affects the legacy financial markets.

Still, I have to wonder how long we are going to sit here with Hive just being behind everything else...
