Greetings fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We've arrived at the weekend... and that means Caturday! Running a little late today... as things seems to have been around here, for the past couple of weeks.

Staying warm on my blanket!

Just Trying to Stay Warm!

As you know, we cats love to stay nice and toasty warm!

That has been difficult lately, as the central heater in our otherwise lovely house is broken, and we have been rather cold in here since last Tuesday!

Of course, it being wintertime, all the service people are backed up with house calls, and the earliest someone could come out was next week. However, we got lucky that the Hoomans' son-in-law used to work with someone who specializes in that kind of work, and he is now coming by tomorrow afternoon. Yay!

A bit apprehensive...

Of course, now the Hoomans are very worried that they are going to have to pay for an a very expensive service call... witgh money they don't actually have.

I love that we have a nice comfy house, but this thing you Hoomans call "money" sure seems to cause a lot of distress. I wish I could help... but what can a cat really do... aside from manage his Hive blog?

In the end, I'm sure all will turn out OK!

Smudge, as usual, just sleeps through most of these things!

Hive Rising...?

Meanwhile, after that thoroughly miserable January, it seems like there's a little more life in the cryptosphere... and I'm very happy to see our "local" Hive token on the rise again!

Even though I am generally not upset by very much, I have to admit that it was depressing to wake up every day, only to discover that things had declined even further.

I know this is a very volatile business.... but even so, sometimes it's tough to maintain your enthusiasm.

Well, I'm going to crawl back under my warm blanket!

Let's hope that The guy who's coming tomorrow can fix our heater so at least we'll all benice and warm again!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
