Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

As Thanksgiving weekend is winding down we have also made it through Saturday... which also means we have made it to the final Caturday of the month of November.

It has been a rather busy weekend with people coming and going, as the Hoomans celebrated their Thanksgiving and family has been visiting.

We even had a visit from the Daughter-Hooman with her infant son and her husband. We don't normally get to see them here as it's usually the Mom-Hooman who ends going to Seattle to visit them.

Of course, a lot of people in and out of the house can be a little nervous making for us cats, I have had to reassure Shangri and Nala — who are relative newcomers — that there is nothing to be afraid of.

Just goes to show that I have become an old hand paw at this!

Now that the visitors have mostly left (the Son-Hooman is still here) the Hoomans continue to be quite busy. With the festivities out of the way now they are preparing for the first of their "holiday arts and crafts events", which begins this coming Thursday.

I do wish they would take more time to rest, but I guess it's part of human nature that you're always on the go. They should take a leaf out of the book of us cats because we like to relax and just take it easy.

Hopefully they will do well at their events, because it is much needed since things have been rather slim pickings around here.

I don't know much about the financial ins and out of life, but they're always complaining about being rather short on this thing they call "money." All I know about money is that it enables us to get cat treats and cat litter and things like that and that's pretty important to us!

Everyone is doing well and all in all we're pretty happy. It's not as much fun when the Hoomans are stressed out because they seem to have less time to play with the cats but we try to console them as best we can!

In other news, I just made it to my 2025 Hive goal of reaching 6000 Hive Power, which makes me quite happy! Now the next immediate challenge gets to be to see whether I can officially make it to becoming a Hive "Dolphin" before the year runs out!

There's something slightly funny and asymmetrical about a cat who wants to become a dolphin, don't you think?

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
