Back when there was only Steem, one of my favorite SCOT tribe projects was CreativeCoin.
I love this project because of the focus on creative endeavors — from music to art to writing and beyond — and I strongly believe the future growth of our community must include content other than crypto, technical, blockchain and dApp development.
I happen to think cat content fits under the creative heading, in its own ways... if you've ever tried photographing cats, you'll get that!
In support of this idea, I ended up buying and staking enough of the CCC tribal tokens through Steem-Engine to warrant creating this separate CCC account, purely for curating creative content.
Typically, I did most of my curating and commenting through the creativecoin.xyz front end.
Like I expect holds true for many folks, my efforts fell somewhat into limbo when the Steem/Hive split came about — and I even worried this little account might have become obsolete, in the process.
After all, I didn't have much voting power in any other sense... but now there is great news!
CreativeCoin is now Active via Hive-Engine!
I was delighted to learn that yesterday all my staked CreativeCoin tokens were airdropped into Hive-Engine, so now I will be able to resume to my curation efforts, focusing on creative content... and have it mean something! And what better time than right now, with interest in the greater Hive ecosystem booming!
Once again, this account has "Purpose and Meaning!"
Many heartfelt thanks to the @creativecoin crew for all their hard work: @swelker101, @isaria, @derangedvisions, @juliakponsford and anyone else working to make this happen! I may just be a tiny fish in all this, but I really appreciate your willingness to continue the project here on Hive!
I currently have a little over 26,000 CCC tokens staked, which should be enough to "spread the wealth" to a fair bit of worthy content!
If you are not already familiar with the Creative Coin Community, do check it out! There IS also a Creative Coin Community here on Hive; it seems very quiet, but hopefully we can kick some life into it, now that the tokens are alive again!
