Hola Hivers, sean bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy participé en el congreso Nor Oriental de la federación de trabajadores públicos del país, donde se dirigieron representantes gremiales de distintos sindicatos del eje oriente, debatiendo propuestas sobre la reivindicación a los trabajadores públicos.
Y es que un aumento de sueldo al sector público es muy necesario en este tiempo. Por lo general no soy de asistir a eventos de este tipo, pero hoy estaba representando junto a otros compañeros a la municipalidad y aproveché para reencontrarme con otros compañeros quienes están en distintos departamentos de la Alcaldía.
El evento tuvo lugar en el hotel Tibisay, y estuvieron desde las 8 a. m. hasta el final de la tarde, evento que se llevará a cabo hasta el día de mañana, que por suerte no me toca ir.

A salary increase for the public sector is very necessary at this time. I usually do not attend events of this type, but today I was representing the municipality with other colleagues and I took the opportunity to meet with other colleagues who are in different departments of the Mayor's Office.
The event took place at the Tibisay Hotel, and they were there from 8 a.m. until the end of the afternoon, an event that will take place until tomorrow, which fortunately I am not going to attend.
Lo cierto es que debía estar a las 9 AM, que iniciaría el evento como tal; sin embargo, la convocatoria la hicieron a las 8 AM. A mí en lo particular no me gusta estar mucho tiempo en un lugar sentada, mientras otros hablan, soy muy inquieta y me provoca irme, así que me fui a acompañar a mi esposo a echar gasolina, después pasamos saludando a su jefa, buscando una grama para el jardín y cuando lo pude notar ya eran las 11 y media de la mañana, así que salimos apurados a dejarme en el hotel para cumplir con la actividad.
A decir verdad, no estuve muy atenta a lo que hablaban, así que mientras aplaudían y se paraban y se volvían a sentar, yo aproveché de meterme en el Facebook y ver unos memes y videos graciosos, que me hicieron pasar un rato divertido en medio de todo.
He aprendido a bloquear mis alrededores cuando algo no llama mi atención. Lo cierto fue que el evento terminó al poco tiempo de llegar y se dieron cuenta en medio de la cantidad de personas que había llegado tarde: ja, ja, ja.
The truth is that I was supposed to be there at 9 AM, when the event would start as such; however, the call was made at 8 AM. I don't like to sit in one place for a long time while others are talking, I am very restless and it makes me want to leave, so I went with my husband to get gas, then we went to greet his boss, looking for some grass for the garden and when I noticed it was already 11:30 in the morning, so we left in a hurry to drop me off at the hotel to comply with the activity.
To tell the truth, I wasn't very attentive to what they were talking about, so while they were clapping and standing up and sitting down again, I took the opportunity to get on Facebook and watch some memes and funny videos, which made me have a fun time in the middle of it all.
I've learned to block out my surroundings when something doesn't catch my attention. The truth was that the event ended shortly after I arrived and they realized in the middle of the amount of people that I had arrived late: ha, ha, ha, ha.
Y es que de verdad, no me gusta ser la primera en llegar, claro hoy exageré y fui casi que la última, pero esto es algo que me caracteriza, no me gusta llegar de primera, antes si lo hacía, cuando estaba en el liceo tal vez, pero con el tiempo la espera me genera ansiedad y mal humor y yo evitando esas sensaciones y viviendo modo relax sé cómo manejarme.
Lo cierto es que al terminar aproveché por recorrer el hotel y saludar a muchas personas, parecía la alcaldesa 🤣🤣y de verdad que quería pasar desapercibida.
Por suerte, al llegar no tuve que cocinar porque mi esposo compró comida para todos y apenas llegamos. Cada quien se sentó a comer y después, como lo he tomado de costumbre desde que comenzaron las clases, me acuesto a tomar mi siesta de la tarde.
I really don't like to be the first to arrive, of course today I exaggerated and I was almost the last, but this is something that characterizes me, I don't like to arrive first, I used to do it before, maybe when I was in high school, but with time the wait makes me anxious and bad mood and I avoid those feelings and living in a relaxed way I know how to handle myself.
The truth is that when I finished I took the opportunity to walk around the hotel and greet many people, I looked like the mayor 🤣🤣 and I really wanted to go unnoticed.
Luckily, when I arrived I didn't have to cook because my husband bought food for everyone and we barely arrived. Everyone sat down to eat and then, as I have made it a habit since classes started, I lay down to take my afternoon nap.
Antes de que cayera la noche, limpié un poco el jardín y sembré la grama que había traído y después me reuní con mi papá, compartí con mi hermano y su familia y estuve conversando con mi hijo mayor en línea.
Lo chimbo de hoy es que perdí mi primera clase de maestría, porque justamente coincidían las horas y cada una estaba muy distante de la otra, así que me toca ahora ver qué mandaron y ponerme al día.
Estoy equilibrando las tareas del hogar, con ser mamá, hija, hermana, mujer, universitaria, etc. etc. y en ese proceso estoy. Gracias a Dios, mi calidad de sueño ha mejorado muchísimo, y el reír me ha ayudado bastante.
Before night fell, I cleaned up the garden a bit and planted the grass I had brought and then I met with my dad, shared with my brother and his family and chatted with my oldest son online.
The kicker today is that I missed my first master's class, because the times coincided and each one was very distant from the other, so now I have to see what they sent and catch up.
I am balancing household chores, being a mom, daughter, sister, wife, university student, etc. etc. and I am in that process. Thank God, my sleep quality has improved tremendously, and laughing has helped me a lot.
Y pasar tiempo libre viendo las series que me gustan en la comodidad de mis muebles, es fantástico, se siente mucha tranquilidad.
En la noche preparé un café que me quedó súper rico. Me tomé dos tazas, quedó justo como me gusta.
Otra cosa es que estoy gradualmente, organizando la hora de sueño de Diego, nos estábamos acostando muy tarde y aunque nos levantaba más tardes, con el regreso a clases hay cosas que debemos ajustar y el tema de los horarios de acostarse, sobre todo para el que estudia en la mañana, debemos ir equilibrando a fin de que él descanse y sea productivo en su escuela. Another thing is that I am gradually organizing Diego's sleep time, we were going to bed very late and although we were getting up later, with the return to school there are things that we must adjust and the issue of bedtimes, especially for those who study in the morning, we must balance so that he can rest and be productive at school.
